Welcome to Day 5 of the 21-Day Yoga Challenge: Time to Shine!

Friday, September 13. 

By putting in the effort, time, and energy into completing this challenge, you are prioritizing yourself. It's much easier not to do this and to put off self-care. Stay with it, and keep focused on what feels good about participating in this challenge. Even if it's subtle, know that you're making an impact on your well-being with each and every breath you take on your mat.

Today, you have a chance to build more heat with Kristin, or if your body is telling you to slow down, you can take it easy with Jackie's gentler yoga class.

Gentle Hatha Yoga: Sweet Surrender with Jackie Casal Mahrou

55 min class | Level: All Levels | Intensity: Ahhhhhh

This is a slow and gentle yoga class that will soothe and relax your body and mind like nothing else. You will move slowly through this class and have time to hold each posture you can soak in and reap the full benefits of yoga. Throughout class Jackie reminds you to breathe deeply, and invites you to let each posture be more of a surrender and less of a struggle. Relax, let go, and enjoy this full body opening. 

This video version of Gentle Hatha 1 is a remaster of a class that was first recorded in 2006. Please enjoy this updated version, as well as the other 5 classes in the Gentle Hatha series.

We don't always feel passionate about the day or a phase of life, but you never regret getting on your yoga mat and just moving. For only 20 minutes, flow continuously to fuel your passions (pilot), nourish your body (vessel), and propel your breath or winds that keep you on this great path we call life.
