This class gets you warmed up with general conditioning exercises that include jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, and imaginary jump rope. Once warmed up you will progress through a series of punching exercises to help you hone your technique. Weights will be added to strengthen and condition your body as you reinforce your boxing skills. Light weights are recommended.

One thing to keep in mind as you progress through this class is the harder you punch with the weights the more the momentum of the weights will take control of your movements. Instead, focus on tempo and rhythm and the mechanics of your body as you punch to get the best results.
