A new season begins on the September 22nd equinox, bringing the start of Spring in the Southern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. A change of seasons is an ideal time to set intentions and bring positive change to your life. 2020 has been a wild ride and continues to be for many of us. For those fortunate to have access to yoga online, you are always a click away from a powerful self-care routine, through a regular yoga practice. However, just showing up on the mat is often harder than any posture performed in a class. Signing up for a yoga challenge motivate you and stay accountable to practice each day, especially as you interact with and support other participants from around the world. The 2-Week Yoga Challenge: A Fresh Start will give you your usual mix of top-rated Vinyasa and Hatha classes from some of the world's top yoga teachers. In addition, this challenge will have an added emphasis on holistic wellness and taking care of not only your body but also your mind and soul. There will be more Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, philosophical lectures, and meditation class options mixed in over the two weeks, for those who want more variety. This yoga challenge is suitable for all levels, including beginners and there will always be at least one 30-minute or less class option each day, for those with busier schedules. Even a short yoga practice each day is worth it! This challenge is a reminder that carving out even 30 minutes or less of your day for yoga, has benefits that can be felt throughout your entire day. It will be easier than ever to stay consistent, as you'll have your yoga class options delivered to your inbox daily. This is one reason why yoga is so powerful. It can help you spend more time in a state of gratitude and love, more than dissatisfaction and frustration. What is one thing you feel grateful for today? Your thoughts create your experiences and while it can be easy to focus on the negative, yoga helps us weed out unnecessary negative thought patterns. See if you can go throughout your entire day without complaining today and focus more on the positive!

Welcome to Day 9 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge: A Fresh Start! Tuesday, September 29th. You have the ability to deepen the connection between your body and your mind each time you practice. In Western thinking, it's more common to think of the body and mind as separate parts. In Eastern thinking, it is more common to see the whole being as connected. It is common in certain parts of the world for doctors to talk to patients, not only about symptoms, but about their lifestyle, diet, stress levels, and emotional well-being and there is growing evidence on underlying emotional causes, as the causes of health problems. Yoga is an excellent way to listen to our bodies, so we can better take care of them.

Welcome to Day 4 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge: A Fresh Start! Thursday, September 24th. How are you feeling today challengers? Keep up the amazing work. There is momentum in practicing regularly. Your body stays more open and strong when the practice is fresh from the days before. A beautiful result of this is that the yoga practice can become more enjoyable, as you become more practiced. Things become less creaky, more open, and stronger. Notice and delight at moments on your mat over these weeks, where you feel stronger or more open in certain postures. You get good at what you practice, so enjoy the journey!
