Welcome to Day 12 of the 21-Day Yoga Challenge: Time to Shine! Friday, September 20. If you loved the chance to go upside down last week, you've got another chance with a different teacher today. If you're feeling like you need to detox a little, Channing's class will help. Every family of yoga poses has a different set of characteristics. If you need a new perspective, going upside down into inversions has real power to shift your mood and see things from another point of view. If you've been feeling stagnant, or low energy, twisting can clean out the energetic junk in your body and be invigorating. Perhaps, pick the class today that's focused on what you normally like less. For example, if you always get grumpy when a teacher instructs a twist, maybe go head first into twisting today, and go into your practice with a new attitude and curiousity. Sometimes in yoga, the things that we have aversions to, whether it be poses or styles, can be exactly what we need. Today's class choices:

Welcome to Day 11 of the 21-Day Yoga Challenge: Time to Shine! Thursday, September 19. Our bodies like to mix it up. If you only ever practice the same poses in the same way, there's inevitably going to be muscles you use more than others. Today you have a choice between two less common styles, Iyengar, and Barre (which is not a style of yoga, but another fitness practice altogether). If you're craving something other than yoga to get you moving, after 10 days in a row of asana (yoga poses), give the barre class a try. If you want something really different and to learn and advance your yoga practice, the Iyengar class will be insightful and anatomically educational. You'll also get a good physical practice in both classes. Today's class choices:

Welcome to Day 10 of the 21-Day Yoga Challenge: Time to Shine! Wednesday, September 18. Today you've got an opportunity to dive into a longer practice. Ashtanga yoga is a rigorous and traditional style, and Jack's class is a good intro if you've never explored it before. If you want your practice to be a little quicker, Ellen's class will give you good stability insights, and have you on and off your mat in less than half an hour. Today's class choices:

Either working too much, indulging too much, being too lazy, being too busy, etc. Anything in excess can get exhausting and detrimental. Yoga is a tool to help keep ourselves and our lives in balance. Today, you've got the chance to practice with Pradeep. Caitlin's class will take a gentler approach and encourage balance, by learning how to trust yourself. Here are today's class choices:

We'd love to hear how it's going today. It can be easy for the challenge to start feeling like a chore, and your class something you have to do. Today we want to encourage you to avoid falling into this trap, and remember these minutes on your mat are something to look forward to, and possibly moments where you feel your best in your day. Remember to really enjoy your practice as best you can. It's been proven that goals with an element of fun in them, are more successful. If you need something short and sweet today, Jackie's got you covered. If you're feeling like diving into a sweatier practice, Dave's class is a powerful one. Remember to be proud of yourself for making it this far. While there's still a ways to go, seven days in a row of yoga is no easy feat and something that we hope you're already feeling the benefits of. Today's class choices:

There's no right or wrong choice, and pick according to how much time you have and your mood. Ready to shine? Twenty-one consecutive days of yoga will leave you feeling more light, vibrant, and clear - not just on your mat, but also in your life. We may not like to admit it, but it's easy to fall into a routine that might be merely fine, but not have us feeling as energetic and excited about life as many of us would like. It is possible to feel energized, healthy and passionate about life, and yoga can really help facilitate this change from within. 

"Practice and all is coming," is a famous yoga saying that implies if you simply practice consistently, everything else in life will flow a little easier, and you'll be more magnetic for the experiences you want. However, consistently showing up and practicing yoga is often harder than doing any of the actual poses in a class, and the barrier between knowing the benefits of yoga, and actually experiencing them. Fortunately, the structure, accountability, and clear path of curated classes in this challenge make it easy to stay the course, enjoy your practice each day, and enhance the benefits of yoga in your life in the process. 

If you're ready to feel like you're flourishing, instead of feeling like you might just be going through the motions, these 21-days of yoga will give you the boost to get you there. This challenge is all about both supporting and challenging you to be the brightest, most vibrant version of your self. These 3-weeks are a catalyst to reclaim your routine, get your life on track, and live as your shiny and absolute best self. 

Every day, for 21 days, you will have two class delivered to your inbox to choose from. There will generally be a mix of shorter and longer practices, gentler and more intense ones, a beginner accessible option or a more advanced one. You have the freedom to choose the class that suits your mood, energy levels, and preference on each day. This challenge primarily consists of Vinyasa, Hatha, and Power yoga styles, but also includes a variety of other styles throughout, like Pranyama, Ashtanga, Barre, and Yin.

Accountability can also be crucial in helping us thrive or successfully completing a challenge. It's easier to slip into negative habits, or not show up to the things you've committed to when there's no one cheering you on. Fortunately, this 21-day challenge is a group effort, with participants from all over the world sharing their experiences, triumphs and tribulations each day throughout the challenge. The global community of yogis make the challenge experience an encouraging virtual environment.

The challenge is accessible for all levels of yogis, from beginners, to experienced practitioners wanting to get back on track. Once you've committed to the challenge, all you have to do is hit the play button each day and you'll be on your way to feeling clear, fit, and in control of your life.
