Welcome to Day 8 of our 2-Week Spring Challenge for Clearing and Cleansing!

Monday, April 15th

Welcome to day eight of YogaDownload's 2-Week Yoga Challenge for Clearing and Cleansing! Today, we invite you to embrace the beauty of movement and find joy in your practice.

Join Jackie Casal Mahrou for Sunset Slow Flow, a gentle and soothing practice designed to help you unwind and release tension. This class is perfect for winding down at the end of the day, allowing you to find peace and relaxation.

Alternatively, flow with Cicily Carter in Flow, Dance, and Balance, a dynamic and playful practice that combines yoga with elements of dance. This class will challenge you to move with grace and fluidity, helping you find balance and harmony in your movements.

As you flow through today's practice, allow yourself to connect with the rhythm of your breath and the beauty of the present moment. Embrace the opportunity to explore new movements and sensations, and let go of any expectations or judgments.

Whether you choose to flow with the sunset or dance with balance, know that you're taking a positive step towards greater clarity and renewal. Enjoy your practice!

Sunset Slow Flow with Jackie Casal Mahrou

Level:  Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: Everyday Namaste

This well-rounded vinyasa flow class is designed to help you embrace the art of slowing down as you ease into your evening. You will flow through mindful Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) variations with Warrior 1 (Virabhadrasana 1) to warm your body, hold standing postures, then wind down with hip-opening and seated postures to help you ground your energy for your evening. Enjoy!

Flow, Dance, and Balance with Cicily Carter

40 min class

Level: Intermediate | Intensity: You'll Feel It

Peak pose classes are an awesome addition to your normal yoga practice. They are short, sweet, and juicy. If you just finished a class and you are still looking to move or you want to add some spice to your normal routine, plan to "dance" the next 40 minutes away. We will explore the idea of keeping your heart open through challenging balancing flows.

I did Jackie's Sunset Flow last night. Since I did it at night instead of in the morning, I forgot to check in here! My brain...
It was a nice flow. I have noticed that my balance and core strength has improved over the last week. Yay! I'm thankful for the challenge.

This morning called for a reset to kickstart the week, so I returned to the Reset Refuge: Thrive and Shine with Elise Fabricant from day 2 of the challenge which was perfect to me going. Today's sunset flow option is perfect to wind down, so I intend on getting back on my mat to end the day with Jackie.
