Welcome to Day 9 of our 2-Week Spring Challenge for Clearing and Cleansing!

Tuesday, April 16th

Welcome to day nine of YogaDownload's 2-Week Yoga Challenge for Clearing and Cleansing! Today, we invite you to explore the power of balance and the transformative effects of deep, slow movement.

In Flowing with Warrior 3 with Mary Baker, you'll experience a dynamic flow that challenges your balance and strength, helping you find stability and focus. This class will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new possibilities within your practice.

Alternatively, join Shy Sayar in Deep Slow Lunar Flow: A Hip-Opening "Surgery", a practice designed to deeply open and release tension in your hips. This class will guide you through slow, mindful movements that will leave you feeling grounded and connected.

As you flow through today's practice, focus on finding your center and moving with intention. Allow yourself to fully experience each posture and breath, embracing the challenge and growth that comes with it.

Whether you choose to flow with Warrior 3 or explore deep hip opening, know that you're taking a positive step towards greater clarity and renewal. Enjoy your practice!

I did Mary's class because I was short on time. It was really good for such a short class. I'm going to do the other one at some point because it looks fantastic, I just didn't have 45 min today :(

I'm not sure how it happened, but I believe that I am a day behind. This one I did tonight, I'm glad that I actually kept going... usually if I miss a day in a challenge, I will completely restart the entire thing from day one. It's either I finish on time, with every one else, or I just keep starting from one, and get so frustrated that I quit. I didn't this time though. I watched myself intuitively just pick up where I left off, with grace and gratitude.

I did Shy’s class tonight. Despite being a bit confused by some directions and needing to check the video it was incredibly relaxing and opening. I’m definitely going to return to this one again in the future as I’m feeling a nice balance of strength and flexibility following it.

Warrior 3 flow today to find my strength. Admittedly I personally needed to warm up for this one, so I struggled with the first half of the sequence. But by time the warrior 3 flows came in I was 'flying' :)

I had intended to take Mary’s class this morning, but it wouldn’t allow me to play it for some reason, so I was guided to Shy’s class. I have taken a class from Shy in the past and loved it. Again his class did not disappoint! I love how Shy cues and guides you with such a calm voice. I was unable to do some the shapes dues to an injury, but after the class, the areas in my body, including the injured, feel open and less pain. A flow I’ll come back to! Thank you! 🙏🏻

I tried Mark Morford's Devotion Intensive III: Do It On the Floor class today. A few of the floor stretches really targeted my shoulder blades, which was unexpected but brought good awareness to some tightness back there. The stretches wrap the legs like pretzels but Mark is very clear about how to enter and exit the poses so its easy to follow. Fun option for working the legs in mostly seated postures.
