Please know that my classes are designed to be challenging for a reason. My hope is that every time you conquer one of my classes, you leave feeling stronger physically and mentally. I have found that intensely physical workouts are even more effective when combined with the mindfulness created through yoga. My goal is for you to be your strongest and most bad ass version of yourself every time you workout with me. I am so grateful for this community and am excited to continue our journey together!

Thank you for your support! I encourage you to check out all the different classes that I have to offer. My background is diverse and I have a variety of both fitness and yoga oriented classes on YogaDownload. One of my favorite classes that was recently released is called Foam Roll + Static Stretch. This class is great for students with an active lifestyle as well as students that might be recovering from an injury and laid up. Variety is the best way to deepen your practice, so I also want to encourage you to check out as many teachers as you can on YogaDownload. Namaste!
I want to send a warm welcome to each and all who try my videos. Whether you are new to yoga or a long time practitioner, remember that yoga will meet you wherever you are at with your body and in your life. Remember that yoga comes to us from a long history and each pose, each practice, can have many layers: for some it will be about fitness, for others it will be about a better relationship with your body, it can be about inner peace, and it can be about mastering your awareness of the present. Yoga evolves with us. We evolve through yoga. It’s simple and complex. Best of all, there is nothing to fear. So, take a nice deep breath, let it out fully and slowly, and let’s begin!

Dearest YogaDownload Students: It is both an honor and pleasure to share this art of yoga with you. This practice has positively transformed my life and it is a joy to share what I have learned over the past two decades with you. My students have always been my greatest teachers and I receive all of the loving feedback – appreciations and learning points – with a wide-open heart.
My offering to you mirrors my healing work. I encourage you to approach your practice with the mind of a beginner. Be willing to be uncomfortable, be open to exploring your edge and embrace that each and every day offers something new and wonderful to explore.

You inspire me. I know it isn't always easy to stick with a home practice. I am so grateful that you are prioritizing your health and well being, even when there are a million other things you could be distracting yourself with. We are here to do important work together. I believe it is the most important work we'll ever do. This is the work of cultivating our inner landscape.
It happens each and every day, when we choose to connect with our breath, give thanks, soften on the inside, and share our compassion with others. Yoga helps us to connect with what is true inside of all of us. Connecting our breath with our movement, even in the most simple of ways, is a profound tool for bringing us back into our center sanctuary. Something many of us are encouraged to stray from in most of our waking lives.
It gives me great hope to know that you are committed to growing deeper in your relationship with yourself. This is indeed the first step to all the greatest miracles in life.

We had a great conversation which turned into a video exchange and then a brief phone chat. I was honored that she felt comfortable enough with me to reach out personally!
Aloha! It is such an honor and privilege to be part of yogadownload’s global community. In the current technological age we are afforded the opportunity to share, collaborate and disseminate wisdom in an unparalleled manner that previously was unavailable. I am so happy to share four decades of practice and study in the hopes that my experiences can alleviate some of the avoidable confusion concerning Yoga, and offer Patanjali’s perennial insights into how to make the most of life experience through our personal practices.

Even though we aren't able to connect live and in person and we don't really know one another, I want you to know that I do see you, not in a weird or awkward way :) but in the way that I know you are out there at home showing up and doing your best to achieve whatever it is you are working on!
I applaud and respect your efforts and dedication to improve yourself as I am fully aware of how difficult it can be, wether it's to lose weight, gain flexibility or strength, minimize stress and tension, get your life back on track, deepen the relationship with yourself or better understand your life in general OR the endless other reasons we all choose the yoga practice!

A message to my Yoga Download students: Study anatomy and Ayurveda! Both my personal practice and my teaching of yoga have benefitted beyond measure by investing time and energy in these studies to enhance my understanding and applicability of the practice to myself and others. By understanding the five-element and three-dosha systems of Ayurveda, anyone can rather quickly learn how to customize a yoga practice (and, in fact, virtually every aspect of lifestyle) to the needs of the individual, as well as to environmental factors such as the season and the time of day. And learning anatomy-based alignment technique, like looking under the hood of the machine or behind the magician's veil, empowers us to understand the mechanics of our own bodies as well as those of the practice, and to keep ourselves safe and progressing effectively in our physical and mental development. Of course, these systems can be difficult to understand alone, and are best learned from a teacher who has invested decades in studying them, which is why I am particularly happy about and proud of my Yoga Download videos in therapeutic alignment, anatomy and Ayurveda. They can quickly and easily help anyone gain significant understanding in these crucial areas of study without demanding too much time and effort.
