Finding the Stillpoint

Kristen Boyle

Amid the noise and chaos of our modern daily world, finding the stillpoint may be our best work ever.

In Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga, the entry point to meditation is Pratyahara. Loosely translated as "withdrawal of the senses," I like to think of it as finding the stillpoint within yourself, so as to be undisturbed by outward stimuli - the noises, the sights, smells, activity, to do lists.

In this practice you will be challenged by complex postures and transitions, while maintaining a steady, even breath. You will practice and learn to focus attention inward, to connect to the stillpoint within yourself. There are also a few options to practice a hop to handstand if you choose to!
