Some days are darker than others. Begin in child’s pose. Start small and drawn in, start where you are. Breathe into the back-body and expand your own sense of inward space from smaller to bigger.
The darkness inside feels real because is real until it transforms and moves along. Sometimes the darkest days feel like the more permanent states of the shadow, I get it. We will let the breath surface the muddy feelings and have slow movement transmute them towards a brave meditation.

Wow. This class is exactly what I needed on a heavy-feeling day. The instructor Shannon s beautiful cues and guided meditation not only helped me get out of my own head, but she led me to an awareness of my own body which was just so transformative for me. And within the first minute, Shannon commended us for even turning this video on. I know it sounds funny, but I really needed that. Getting to the mat was so hard for me today, but I m so glad I did and so glad I found this video. Highly recommend!
A really great short class. Just getting on your mat is sometimes the hardest thing and this class makes it all worth while. Great when your low in energy, very gentle.

I m having a "dark" day. This video didn t make my day better, but it did take me somewhere else for a few minutes, and for that I m grateful. Sometimes, on a dark day, that s really all you can ask for. The instructor s voice is calming and understanding. The moves were interesting (particularly the cross-legged plank), and I think this is something I will come back to on days when I need it.
