Welcome to Day 7 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge: Find Your Flow Sunday, April 18th. You're at the halfway point! This is something to feel proud of, and even seven consecutive days of yoga isn't easy. A year into the global pandemic, what has helped you stay sane and steady? Have there been silver linings to the abrupt changes in the world, or has it been overwhelmingly challenging? There is no right or wrong answer, but sharing your experiences can help you remember you are not alone and we have all endured a radically different world over the past year. Welcome to Day 6 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge: Find Your Flow Saturday, April 17th. Welcome back to your mat yogis. What are some things besides yoga that keep you in the flow? One way to be in a flow state more frequently is to do things that put you into the flow, as regularly, as possible. It can be cooking, cleaning, making art, talking with friends, riding your bike, or much more. Whatever it is, prioritize those activities and notice if they uplift your entire being. The beauty of yoga is that it can make you more present in those other passions in your life also. This weekend, treat yourselves to one of those activities if you have the time. Today, you have the option for a longer practice with Jack. If you want some informative technique and time to hold postures, Desiree's teaching is precise and insightful. If you'd like to tackle some harder postures, enjoy exploring Handstand with Kyle. Here are today's class choices:

Welcome to Day 5 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge: Find Your Flow Friday, April 16th. Happy Friday! You're nearing the halfway point and we hope you're feeling strong and open. Today you've got three distinct practices to choose from. If you enjoyed the higher intensity practice yesterday with Mark, you've got the chance for another one today that is more condensed. If you want a relaxing Friday evening choice, Jackie's class is a lovely evening class (that can also be practiced anytime throughout the day). If you like to hold postures, Keith's class is for you.

If you want something simple and short, Robert's class will get your yoga in today, in 20 minutes. If you need something gentle, or to support your neck, Elise's class is relaxing and effective. If you want some fire and flow, Mark's class will have you moving and also attract more luck into your life.

You're a few days into your challenge and we hope you're starting to feel even the first benefits of this endeavor. Yoga is a metaphor for other areas of life and can benefit you off of the mat. The philosophy of yoga teaches us that yoga is a practice of working on ourselves internally, and from there, things in our external world flow with much more harmony. Many approach life with the opposite approach, seeking external gratification with the hope that it'll bring internal happiness.

Every practice of this challenge journey will be different, and that's what makes it interesting. Yoga poses are each experiences that teach you more about yourself and every posture has a unique lesson to give. One quality of the flow state is that people are more likely to find it if they're doing something they enjoy. For most of us, finding our flow in something we've been doing for a long time, is remembering why we love it, and not simply seeing it as a chore or something we should do.

Congratulations on being here and committing to self-care over these next two weeks. Yoga's benefits are plentiful and can have positive ripple effects in all areas of your life. Even for some long-time practitioners of yoga, 14 consecutive days is something many have never accomplished, and that is because it is no easy task! There will be days you're excited to get on your mat, others where it's more of a challenge, but the structure and accountability of this challenge will make it easier for you to stay consistent and show up for yourself each and every day on your mat.
