Welcome to Day 2 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge: Find Your Flow

Tuesday, April 13th.

Welcome back, yogis! Every practice of this challenge journey will be different, and that's what makes it interesting. Yoga poses are experiences that teach you more about yourself, and every posture has a unique lesson to give.

One quality of the flow state is that people are more likely to find it if they're doing something they enjoy. For most of us, finding our flow in something we've been doing for a long time is simply remembering why we love it, rather than seeing it as a chore or something we "should" do.

What do you love about yoga? If you follow this love, you'll be more likely to come back to your mat regularly over the long haul. If you're new to yoga, you can think about this question as you gain more experience and notice the things you like about practicing.

Today you've got a flow class from Jackie if you enjoy moving with your breath. If you want to give your lower back some love and attention, Erin's class will nourish that part of your body. Or if you want to spend more time on the fundamentals, Claire's class will give you tools to take with you into your practice.

Beginner Yoga: Find Your Flow with Claire Petretti Marti

55 min class | Level: Beginner | Intensity: Everyday Namaste

Are you interested in practicing Vinyasa Flow yoga, but feel intimidated with the pace and learning the proper alignment? Claire designed this class for beginners to experience a full Vinyasa flow class, but she breaks down the poses with specific and clear alignment cues at a slower pace. You'll learn Sun Salutations, Standing Poses like Warrior 2 and Triangle, Balancing poses like Tree and still access linking breath to movement--it's like one long dance with your breath. Once you've mastered this class, you'll feel confident to move on in your practice. Try it!

Low Back Love with Erin Wimert

25 min class | Level: Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: Ahhhhhh

Many of us carry our physical and emotional tension in our lower back and hips. This class consists of my favorite go-to shapes to release this tension to feel more spacious and at ease.

Flow:

Get Up & Flow with Jackie Casal Mahrou

30 min class | Level: Intermediate | Intensity: Everyday Namaste

Start your day off with breath and movement. This class is designed to help you get your body moving and energy flowing first thing in the morning. As you move through simple Sun Salutations and heart-opening postures, Jackie encourages you to ground yourself in gratitude and connect with your highest intentions for your day.
