This 50-minute vinyasa class combines energizing core work and heart-opening backbends to lift low moods and combat emotional sluggishness. The sequence targets the third and fourth chakras (belly and heart centers) through dynamic flows, standing balancing poses, and progressive backbends including variations of bow pose and bridge pose.

Beginning with Vajra Pradama mudra (the gesture of unshakeable trust), you'll move through asymmetrical seated work, sun salutations, warrior variations, and balancing sequences before building toward deeper backbends. The practice uses the fire element through core engagement and the air element through chest-opening postures to counterbalance the heavy, stagnant qualities that accompany sadness and mild depression.

Ideal for when you're feeling down, unmotivated, or emotionally stuck, this practice offers a gentle yet invigorating antidote through movement, breath, and intentional energy cultivation. The class concludes with restorative savasana to integrate the practice's uplifting effects.
