Birds of Paradise

This sequence is designed to prepare you for Birds of Paradise by systemically opening the chest and shoulders through a succession of half-bound poses working towards some full binds towards the end of class. Hamstrings are also a focal point. If you are blessed with "strong" shoulders a strap or belt may be of use. Finding freedom within the confines of a bind is a learned skill and a great metaphor for life!
