Yin always feels wonderful on a body abused by decades of martial arts, wrestling and weights. Caitlin is one of my favorite Yin instructors and this class is truly excellent, especially in the morning. It really leaves one feeling open, relaxed and ready to face the day.

I haven t done a ton of yin yoga, so I was interested in hearing all the benefits of each pose. I liked this class, but next time I ll wear more clothes - by the end I was cold!
Carla, thank you for taking a chance on this class and being open to the practice! YES, this is important. Wear layers during Yin Yoga. As you get still your blood is redirected to the yin tissues including ligaments, tendons and internal organs. You will notice your feet, hands and nose get cold. Add layers as and blankets as needed.

Yin can be just as challenging as other yoga modalities. I love that it forces me to slow down and relax into a pose, allowing my body to feel my muscles and loosen that stubborn fascia. I really enjoyed Caitlin s explication of how and for what each pose was beneficial. Thank you

Day 5 of the Yoga challenge and the eve of a 3rd UK national Lockdown. An excellent class to help settle my mind, especially as I am waiting to hear result of my Covid test.
Very calming class. Caitlin has a gentle voice and does not pressurise you at all.
Feel much clearer in my mind and calmer in myself.
Let’s hope tomorrow is as positive - well, not in a Covid way! ????

Day 5 of yoga reset. It was wonderful to have time with each pose. I appreciated the tips on different ways to hold the pose as I am very stiff and needed some options. Very restful, peaceful.

Yin yoga is a blessing practice amongst all the possibilities of yoga. It requires a lot from the facilitator to embrace it fully and projects that energy into the practice. Which was unfortunately not the case in the lesson. To much words about things that do not matter when one wants to connect with its body. The class start too sudden, a bit of shaking before the first pose would be welcome. And choosing one option for the pose in stead of several, which make the whole class a bit uncertain. So I give the points for the yinyogractice, which Was a goid start of my day, but I would suggest the facilitator to give another kind of practice, or adapt the style. And a bit of humour from tome to time does wonders. Yogaclasses do not have to be brought serious and academic,

I enjoyed this class very much. I struggle to slow down enough for Yin yoga sometimes, but I enjoyed listening to the benefits of each "shape" while I held them. It made it easier for me to settle in. I will be looking for another of your classes soon. Thank you!

Love this flow. It was very relaxing.
I like that you used the word flow. There is a flow of subtle energy that happens in Yin Yoga. This is the foundation of of our health — physical and psycho-emotional. When we have healthy chi flow the rest of our lives flow much better :)
It was a very slow paced class and was a nice change from the past two classes, which gave my body a chance to relax and not be worked as hard.

Wow! What a refreshing class!
I did this after rolling out of bed this morning - and it was the perfect, low-stress way to reconnect and prepare to meet the day.
Very clear instructions and a great sequence of poses - I m grateful find a class that offers something more than endless rounds of sun salutations, chaturangas, and down dogs.

Amazing class! I wanted something after a long and extended day of travel and the title sounded perfect. I was tired and needed a boost, and this class definitely did that - in fact Caitlin mentions during the session that its a good one post traveling. Afterwards i felt both relaxed and rejuvenated.

I loved this yin class! I m always amazed by how challenging they can be. The poses initially feel so good and then as you hold for 3 minutes, the breath is the only thing to get me through. The feeling at the end was the best. Loved legs up the wall for the final pose.
So glad you loved it and stayed with it even when the holds became challenging. Legs up the wall is my fave too :)

This was a great class to end my day. It was very relaxing and gentle on the body. I was able to completely relax in the last pose, legs up the wall. I felt refreshed and calm at the end. I loved your cuing and explanations of the benefits of each pose. I will come back to this class when I need to calm my mind and soul.
