Warrior I out of/into downward dog was a bit too much for my very soggy body, so I just stayed in plank & cobra.
The stretching and meditation felt great tho.
I showed up and did it today!
One day at a time and I know my body will start to get stronger ??

I couldn t make it through the breathing exercises at the beginning. I m sorry, but the sound of breathing through her tongue was atrocious. I don t recommend this to anyone with misophonia

Great gentle flow and meditative class after a very stressful week. The mantra really helped calm down my mind and allowed me to focus on the present.

I don t use Spotify for personal and ethical reasons. I couldn t finish the class - the lack of music is surprisingly really distracting. 4 stars because it seems lovely, but without background music my mind is everywhere and definitely not simmering down.

LOVED this class! I had hip surgery 8 weeks ago, and I just had my 8 week follow up appointment today. I am cleared to do gentle yoga, avoiding my specific movement restrictions. This class was just what I needed. I had to modify Warrior 1 to Crescent, and use some blocks to do a few variations, but I was actually able to do almost everything without any pain or issues. The Spotify playlist was a HUGE bonus. I loved it, and I am now following Elyse so I can listen to more of her stuff. I will absolutely do this class again, while I am still recovering, and also any time I need to wind down and relax. Perfect!

I LOVE that this video came with a separate spotify mix! How wonderful that we re not forced to listen to cheap stock music during our yoga practice. We can practice in silence, with our own music, or with the teacher s recommended music. I hope this becomes a trend!
This class also did the trick to settle my nerves very effectively. Five stars.

I did this class first thing in the morning following a very stressful day and evening. The first half of the class includes enough movement to bring your attention back to the present. The second half is quite calming. This would be great to do before bed. Thank you Elise for another wonderful class. I look forward to seeing more from you on yogadownload.
