I almost didn t do this class because of the reviews. The class is not all that repetitive. There is one mandala sequence that is repeated three times total. Once slowly and two times more quickly.
As for the speed, the second and third repetition move quickly, breath to movement, but it matched my usual breaths perfectly.
Overall, I would say this is a you ll feel it, but on the more chill side. I broke a small sweat, but never felt rushed or out of breath. A really excellent sequence.
I ll do this one again when I want a light challenge. My hips and lower back feel amazing now. And I loved that there was a wild thing in the flow to wake me up and open my heart.

I haven t written public reviews here too often (ever?) but want to chime in about this class. It s wonderful.
I have been doing yoga for years, so am fairly experienced, and I think that is an important point. I found it easy to follow and the cues excellent for alignment. Like most vinyasa classes, the first time through the sequence was slow with a focus on alignment, deepening, and strengthening. Then we moved through the sequence with our breath, which felt very well-timed to me. The sequence is a round the world type - where you shift from facing "front" to the "back" of the mat.
The instructor doesn t get into detail on how to form each pose, relying on students knowledge of poses like chair, airplane, pyramid, etc.
If you are a newer yogi this class may not be a good fit. If you have some experience and are familiar with the things I describe here, you will likely find the class easy to follow.

I will have to agree with other reviewers... This would be a great class if the pace were adjusted. The first sequence is too slow (lots of extraneous talk) and then the repeats go at lightening speed. No time to breathe, almost impossible to follow even for an intermediate level. Then it gets better. Uncommon poses and great stretches. Overall not a bad class if you skip the impossible to follow part...

I come back to this flow often when I have time in the morning. I like the speed of the flow. Keep repeating the class and you will find the rotation calming and energizing.

This class is too fast pace with too much set at the back of the mat. I hurt my ankle trying to keep up with the flow and follow direction as the cues are incomplete/there is to much packed into one sequence and I had to keep turning or getting out of posture to see what was going on. On a good note, it was unique an would be a good class for a more advanced level or likely for someone who is familiar with this teacher.

Kirstin is my "go to" instructor at yoga download. Her classes are always varied, interesting, good direction, nice pointers for adjustments and no long spiritual messages! This class is a perfect wait to start the day.

Such a great class from Kristen, another keeper! Great around the world vinyasa with very clear cuing and lots of challenges. I like to do this one at night, but that s when I do all my yoga. I thin it would be great in the morning, too! Thanks so much!

I really enjoyed this class. For me, the pace was just right. I was breathing and moving... Perfect meditation and the 40 minutes flew by.

By the time I took this class, it had been re-categorized as intermediate and you ll feel it (based on previous feedback). That s a good thing! I had a hard time with the pace of movement in this class for a first thing in the morning, she really flows fast. I like a little bit slower and longer holds to warm up for morning yoga classes. Would recommend when you want a creative fast moving flow, whatever time of day that is for you.

This is a great class with a good variety of moves. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that the flow in the middle of the workout goes so fast that it could be too much for someone not accustomed to that. I do yoga daily and thought I could handle it but I was really looking forward to getting over with that part!

3 stars because I feel it is miscategorized.
As others have said, this was not a good first thing in the morning for me. Was too fast and difficult for advanced beginner and early morning. First thing in the morning I m looking for a slower flow with more stretches.
The class is great tho and I would do it again when I m mentally ready for a challenge and to sweat!

Love this morning routine! It was more difficult and strong than any other Adv Beginner wake-up videos I have found on yogadownload ... but Ive stuck with it its gotten easier but still strong and effective. Kristin s positivity is definitely a factor .... Thank you Kristin! Please please PLEASE make more morning practices :)

Great class! I would say it is fairly intense, fast paced, and definitely intermediate level. It doesn t work for me as a morning yoga routine because I need something more gentle when I awaken and am still stiff. But I enjoy this class for later in the day when I am ready for more of a workout!

This class is perfect for mornings when just waking up. The flow was not one that I have not experienced. I love the insight of proper alignments and the cues were clear and easy to understand. I am ready to shine this morning!

First of all, loved this class and Kristin. She gives very clear cues, and my body felt great at the end. I am 61 years old, and have been practicing for about 9 months once a week. I say this so that others may put my comments in perspective. I thought it was a little more than Everyday Namaste but certainly not out of reach. I was unfamiliar with a couple of the poses and flows but found them to be a good challenge for me. I plan on taking this class again (maybe tomorrow!)

If I could give this class more than 5 stars, I would! It was exactly what I needed this morning. It is a bit of a work-out but for me, that made it more of a morning get up and go class rather than stretchy. I stopped to stretch longer at the beginning and wheel of life at the end. Includes balancing, twisting and moving around the world so worked in a circle. Of course, in her usual style, Kristin s words were wise, thought-provoking and motivating. Makes you want to go out into the world today and do some good. Be an example for others. The perfect way to set your mind up for the day.

I love all of Kristen s classes she vibes positivity and her classes make me feel so good! This class is perfect when you need to slow it down. I do yoga everyday and this will be a nice one to do when I need to be easy on my body. I especially liked the moving directions on the mat. Nice flow and of course great cues.
