It seems simple enough...right? I promise you it's worth a try. So I thought I would share a few of my favorite affirmations with the hope of inspiring you. Here goes:
There is more than enough time in a day to accomplish all that I want to do.
Think of how many times you have heard yourself say the opposite! The more you say it the more it will be true (this works both ways).
I love my body and treat it as the house of my spirit.
I try to say this one before I am about to go to Starbucks, skip yoga or buy potato chips.
I am beautiful.
Yup! I said it.
The world is full of love and opportunity.
Keep repeating this one while you watch the news. We have to keep believing in love.
I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
You are on the path. Nothing is a mistake.
Anything is possible for me and my life.
I realize this is a big one. Keep saying it. Start believing it.

Have you ever had an encounter with someone who tries to make you feel small? Someone who belittles you? Or do you ever find that you are in fact the person who does this to yourself? I had an encounter with this a while back. Someone made me feel small, and tried to get in my head. I felt small. I felt caved in. And THEN it transferred over into my yoga practice. I tried to do a headstand and BOOM, hit a wall (literally). Couldn't stick the pose. And then I thought - what if instead, I focus on being BIG? And I lifted up with a little more ease.

Manifestation works on the principle that the thoughts we have can attract desires we have. The idea is each thought we have then creates an energy flow around our bodies. The energy flowing around us attracts similar energies. So, for example, if you’re thinking negative thoughts, your energy will be negative and you’ll attract negative experience. However, we can harness this principle to bring positive vibes into our lives.
