While asanas (physical yoga poses) are more popular in modern yoga, it’s important to note that pranayama is one of the eight limbs of yoga, just like asana, and equal in importance.

Day 1: Pranayama: Alternate Nostril Breathing If you're feeling stressed, low or mildly down, the Alternate Nostril Breathing in this class can help to bring you back to balance, grounding and calming you.
Day 2: Pranayama: Kapalabhati This class will increase your body's oxygen supply, which stimulates and energizes the brain while preparing it for meditation and work that requires high focus.
Day 3: Breathwork: 4 Purifications The practice neutralizes a restless mind and works the breath through bandhas (binds) to remove stagnant energy, rebalance energetic flow, strengthen the pranic (subtle body) and connect the intellect with intuition.
Day 4: Pranayama: Vishama Vritti Ready to relax and soothe your nervous system? This class teaches you how extending your exhales helps you tap into your parasympathetic nervous system or relaxation response.
Day 5: Pranayama for Better Sleep In this quick and easy pranayama and meditation practice you will learn the art of winding down and relaxing the nervous system for better sleep.
Day 6: Coherent Breath Coherant breathing connects the heart energy with the brain energy - when this practice is done for a minimum of 3 minuets a day for 3 days it creates a connection that the body finds on its own.
Day 7: Pranayama: Cleansing the Energy Channels This brief instructional video on alternate nostril breathing is a perfect breath exercise to prepare for anything that requires focus - it can be done anywhere, and at any time of the day.
Day 8: Pranayama to Ground & Calm the Mind In this short relaxing session to calm the mind and ground into life, you will explore breathing and an easy short meditation to feel better instantly.
Day 9: Beat the Winter Blues Pranayama This practice, focused on using your breath to invigorate your body and mind, can offset those dark days of winter and coolness that make us to feel heavy and dull.
