I am having back pain and cannot do any fast or quick movements now. This class is perfect to me to retrain my brain to stand tall. The step by step practice make this simple but difficult posture more accessible. Thank you.

I discovered Dana s teachings when doing this class as part of the 3-week Detox and Destress Challenge; and I have been following her classes ever since. Although I wasn t interested in doing Iyengar yoga prior to this time, I really enjoy doing Dana s classes. Hopefully there will be more of her classes on Yoga Download.

This class was offered as part of 3-Week Challenge - Detox & Destress and, since I woke up with my typical sore hips and low back, I was going to skip it but I am so glad I didn’t!! Yes, my posture and length felt good but about 10 minutes after I finished the class, I couldn’t believe the relief and release in my hips! Can’t wait to try Dana’s other classes!

Felt the lengthening throughout the class and felt great. With low back problems this was perfect in stretching out those areas. Definitely added to my favorites.

I am glad I tried this session and will definitely add to my favourites! As I get older I have found my posture rounding and after years of carrying purses and briefcases my shoulders have been worn down. This session will become part of my regular yoga routine! Thank you Dana!

I really like Dana s personality & teaching style, and will try her other classes. However, to me this class doesn t fit its name. It s all shoulder stretches, which is great, but that wasn t what I expected from a class that s supposed to be focused on improving posture. I ve never done an Iyengar class before, so maybe it s just my unfamiliarity with the style.

Two for the price of one, educational and a good workout. Wonderful isometric confractions of the upper back, chest and shoulders helps one to feel the muscles and develope muscle memory.
