Thank you, slow, steady yet challenging sequence. Glad to have persevered to the end.

This is another great class by Jackie and will be part of my library. I totally agree with "Drea R" assessment. Don t underestimate the value of a good well delivered beginners class. Jackie typically gives you time to push yourself if desired. Please keep the classes over an hour coming! I love the longer classes. One of my frustrations is the lack of good 1 hour ++ classes.

I did all 5 classes and give the instructor a 5 Star review. She is knowledgeable yet humble, strong yet not intimidating. I swim competitively and have been doing yoga by myself using books for over 30 years now and this series reached deeper within me than I knew existed.
Thank you YDL for your wonderful range if Yoga classes and expert guidance.

I love Jackie s classes. I ve never taken one that I didn t love. This one stands up as well. I have been practicing for awhile and the class was still challenging. A great refresher class about proper alignment while still being interesting. Thanks for another great class.

Wonderful class! I ve been doing Power Yoga 1-4. Today was my first time doing the 5th class in this series. You will definitely feel it. To me, this is the most challenging class so far (as expected). You will sweat. I do believe this practice makes you stronger. I had trouble doing some poses, but Jackie encourages you to keep trying and it s OK wherever you are. I have learned that when something seems too challenging at first, if I stick with it, it starts to work and it starts to feel right. It just comes. I highly recommend this class and this series.

I really enjoy Jackie s classes in general. She has a voice and delivery that is authentic, clear and well-paced. She doesn t over or under cue. She is a very good instructor. Now, to this class. I have taken her power series up to 5 and have really enjoyed how they build. Although I can practice comfortably at an intermediate level, I never underestimate the effectiveness of a so-labeled "beginner" practice. With any experience at all, a yogi knows that she can advance or simplify any practice with modifications to suit how you feel that day. This can be a very challenging "beginner" practice. She throws in some long/juicy/somewhat painful holds (crescent moon, runners lunge) hello! This is a practice for anyone and everyone, except for maybe a complete first-timer. My only hint is to recommend a block or two before beginning so those at home have something handy if they need it. I needed to grab for a block more than once because I know my body and in what postures I need it. But, not everyone may be privy to when a block would be helpful for better alignment or just a little help in general.
Thanks, Jackie! Keep em comin !

This is a great series for beginners and very helpful for those with more experience to check in to review alignment.

As a totally beginner, I love Jackie s beginner power yoga series. The poses are easy to follow and the explanations are excellent. I love the pace too. I am still the series 4 and I am so excited to move on to the 5th series. I love it when Jackie said to be where you are, let go of any judgement, let go of any right or wrong. It motivates me to just continue doing it and refines the poses as we go on...

Thank you Jackie for this outstanding workout! Great to focus on hips and glutes for us runners. Your Power Yoga series has been a life saver for me. After my back injury I would not still be training without your workouts. Again, Thank You!

The final part of the series was definitely worth the wait. I will continue to use this video series for months to come. Excellent instructions from Jackie as always. I have found my favourite teacher on this website. Jackie is always warm and encouraging. It s like she is in the room with you and can actually see your alignment in your yoga postures!
I think it s actually better than a studio class in person!
The class gave me a full body workout and pushed me to my limits in a good way. In the horse pose my whole body was shaking! The 75 minutes is challenging and I did need to take a child s pose every now and then but it was so good that I didn t want to give up. I really sweated a lot.
There are some elements from Jackie s Hanumanasana Flow Class included such as the standing splits and runner s lunge and twist which I really enjoyed. Reverse table top, janu sirsasana, navasana and ardha matsyendrasana were other fun additions too. What I have loved about this series is that every class has had some unique elements of its own while re-enforcing what was learned in the other 4 classes. I will definitely continue to use all 5 classes to build up my yoga practice.
Thank you so much to Jackie and YogaDownload for this excellent series!
