Dear YogaDownload Students,
During this time of elevated stress, uncertainty and finding a rhythm with the new normal, it is important that we take the time to connect to mindfulness, movement and our breath. The beauty of yoga is that it meets us exactly where we are. Today’s practice doesn’t need to mirror yesterday’s practice or anyone else’s for that matter. Sustaining our practice, even when it is hard to, can help us to heal and stay tapped into our natural, happy nature.
What are you grateful for?
Today, I am grateful for my breath. I was hit hard by COVID-19 in 2020 and the virus brought my asthma back with a vengeance. Every day that I am able to take long, deep breaths, I am grateful.
What gives you a sense of purpose?
Knowing that what I am teaching has greatly healed my life and by showing up authentically, I can inspire others to find their own healing path and serve as support to them along their journey.
