This class is full of leg action, with quad lengthening & strengthening drills & sequences. Don't worry, your hamstrings & glutes are also invited to the party. Expect balancing poses & deep stretches to balance out all the strength work. Bring 2 blocks if you have them & have either a chair or some clear wall space available for the last drill.

Several poses where I was pleasantly surprised I could execute, several more where I was challenged to work toward. Very good work and feeling great upon completion!
excellent class!
Such a fun and challenging class
Wow! Great workout for the quads strengthening and stretching and balancing. I like Lila s unique exercises and transition. This is not a flow class but more so drills. I will warn those with knee issues this is not a class for you and you can modify with the blocks but lots of knee flexion with your body weight into the flexion( watch out for your meniscus)
Quintessential Lila! Amazing class. Definitely Intermediate level. I can t recall any other YogaDownload class that works the quads... And this one is fantastic for balance as well. Thank you for another great practice, Lila!
I look forward t0 this based on the review - only wish it was shorter sp that I could fit it into my busy days

Hope you can take some time this weekend and do it. It s totally worth the time!
I adore Lila s classes because she offers new and different movement styles and challenging transitions, and always gives me something to work toward. Although I train with weights regularly, I find that bodyweight exercises like the ones she cues here are a terrific complement for building muscle strength (which is just as important as flexibility). One note: This is ranked adv beginner but if you take all of the options it s definitely intermediate. I d never done an arrow lunge, and zowie, the tops of my feet let me know that was tough! I ll definitely come back to this one as a leg day option.
