Shy is a fantastic instructor. I always go back to his classes to remind myself of proper alignment and all the other good things we re supposed to get from yoga. Thank you, Shy, for the amazing explanations you give. Namaste.

I like the detailed description for each pose. I am still a beginner- Is there an alternative pose for downward dog? I find it hard for my wrists. Thank you.

I am incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and ways of describing the points of interest in each pose. He also has a great voice. I will be back to this practice again!

This reminds me of a strong yin class: It s slow, allowing you to explore every pose in detail and release tension. Didn t require much strength, but healed my hips. Namasté!

Nice slow opening for the hip. As with other comments, be prepared for LOTS of talking about micro adjustments. I learned a bunch from this, but also found it took away from getting into my own space while moving. I feel great afterwards with my usually tight hips nice and loose.

I do a do deal of yoga but have been having lower back and hip pain so wanted to slow down and open more in the hips and lower back. This was an excellent class with very clear and helpful instruction and just what I needed. thank you!

What a lovely class! It was hard work to concentrate on all of the facets of the alignment and hold the poses for longer. However, the detailed cues were most welcome. I can t wait to have my husband, who is a newbie to yoga, do this class. This is not my first Shy class. I have liked all of his classes thus far.

I really enjoyed this one and will definitely look for more classes by him. He thoroughly went through all of the positions, which is great for beginners or people like me who have been doing yoga for a while, but irregularly and can use some reminders on properly getting into positions.

This is a nice, quiet class going through variations of a single warrior two sequence. Excellent comments to help you improve your warrior two but I don t agree with the assigned intensity or level of the class, I would describe it as gentle.

Instruction is great in this class. I think it can be challenging for most levels because it forces you to concentrate on your form. It seemed to go by quickly in my opinion.

I love his classes. His instructions are so clear, calm, and thorough without the chatter, so you have time to take in all the actions and feel the changes in the poses. You have time to really go deeper not just into the pose but into yourself, and for me, that is more of what yoga is all about.

This class is one of the best ever for my tight hips after sitting at a computer all day. The flow is at an excellent pace, with enough time to align in the pose, but moving enough to get the breath going. It s the first I ve done with Shy, but I will seek more.
