When it comes to our rear ends, we have all been under the misunderstanding that tighter is better. In this class - which focuses on the oh-so-important tush region - you will learn that muscles will benefit from being both strong AND soft. Begin on your back with some deep hip and glute stretches, then come to all fours for some innovative strengtheners. Make your way into some traditional standing poses which emphasize the gluteal region and wind down with more softening and stretching. You will feel this in the best of ways the next day!

I love all of Elise s classes and this one was a true gem - a keeper!
This was a good class for stretching of the glutes and hips. I was expecting more strengthening based on the intensity rating. More of a balance between strengthening and stretching. Very gentle and slow paced.

What a great class! I enjoyed the instruction and the education. I have enjoyed all of Elise s classes and this was another great one!

Thank you Elise. Not only did you educate me but you helped release tensions I didn t even know I had. My body is now very happy. One question - my legs are short...will I ever be able to do full eagle legs?

Not only did this work my glutes but also relaxed my lower back. Perfect amount of time for an "in between" targeted work out Elise is knowledgeable and guides in and out of poses expertly with a calm and relaxed pace and voice. Excellent class.

It was a nice stretch. I like it
I was looking more for strength building and this was more of a really good stretching for the glutes. Still enjoyed it, just wasn t what I thought it was going to be. She did explain why it was the way it was.

This was a great class once again. I really loved this mix of strengthening and streching. While many of your classes are very relaxing (and I enjoy them so much on my resting days), I would love to see more of these classes, challenging a little bit, but at the same time also soothing your body!

Nice brief class that gives good needed focus to gluts - When exercising hard I can come up against the problems that Elise mentions and rather than having strong gluts, I get tight gluts that are weak. Enjoyed this practice to help loosen them up.

I downloaded this class ages before I completed the 21 day challenge. I had found it challenging previously, today (2 days later) it was just the right amount of workout and my fluffy butt loved it. Made me smile while pushing through and feeling good about it. Thank you Elise great class :)

So i really liked her instruction and flow to the class, but it was a really chill sort of workout. I had been doing higher intensity yoga workouts, so this was a nice break, but still didn t feel like I got a comparable workout. It s really great for early morning though, eases you into this working out idea:)

I loved this class! I enjoyed the pace and her voice is gentle and soothing. Fantastic stretch and strength workout in just about 30 minutes! Will definitely repeat!
This class is a great way to open up and get the blood flowing into those tight hips. I feel better already. Need to do this regularly and perhaps my SI joint will improve.
Oh yeah, I think this could really help SI joint pain. Be careful in any twists, though. And check out my class for the low back, too.
I enjoyed this class. While I was practicing, I felt that some of the poses could have been held longer, but by the time I woke up the next morning, my glutes were sore enough to tell me I had given them a good workout and stretching!
Glute work can be deceptive like that, huh?
A great class, some core work, and a good over all stretch/tone of the entire pelvic floor along with the work on the glutes.

I have very tight glutes - and chronic lower back pain as a result. This felt good, and I hadn t seen some of the stretches before. Nice class!
The glutes and low back are so related. You may want to check out my class "yin/yang for lower back," too.
You can t go wrong with any of Elise s classes. She is extremely knowledgeable, knows how to balance just the right amount of instruction/info with pausing for peace/reflection. Her voice is soothing and encouraging too. :-)

I loved this class, it was just what I needed this morning. It afforded me a good stretch as well as toning and strengthening in a kind and gentle manner. I could use more core strengthening classes by Elise!
