This class is gentle, approachable, and relaxing. Mostly stretching with a tiny bit of strength work. I suffer from almost constant lower back strains. The poses in this class were manageable and didn t aggravate the discomfort. I felt it more in my hamstrings and hips. I would do this as an easy routine to keep my back more healthy.

I have a bulged disc in my lower back, and recently, my low back has been feeling unstable. Was hesitant to try this because most yoga leaves me in some pain. But it s been almost a day, and my back feels pretty good! I will be doing this class many more times! Thank you!

Loved this class but after two pregnancies I have a bit of a weak pelvic floor and was told to avoid crunches for abs work. I was wondering if you could mention alternatives to build abs whilst avoiding crunch movements. But otherwise, it s a wonderful session!

Many of these movements were prescribed to me by my chiropractor. The difference to me is a more soulful delivery of healing instruction in the calm of my own home. Hugely wonderful way to spend a little time before bed!

Great class,
I hurt my back over the summer and I struggled to move or sleep. I decided to try yoga because I didn t want to pop pills. I could hardly walk before I started using yoga download. This class is my favorite . I was in so much pain and it stopped after I started doing this class. It is just the right amount of time and the postures feel great. I am going on a trip and I will use this class each day. Thank you.

Coming off of a pulled back muscle about a week ago. Not in constant pain, but moving carefully. This was a nice stretchy class building on core and back muscles. 30 minutes was just about the right time so as not to over do too soon.

An intelligent progressive sequence of lower back releasing and strengthening .I enjoyed how opportunities were taken to extend poses, like knee to nose in Spinal Balance and windshield wiper legs in Locust, as well as some Pranayama.
My hip bursitis leading to lower back pain felt relieved. Gentle yet effective, thanks Claire.

Great class. I have degenerative discs in LS Spine so my yoga therapist said I can t do forward folds (they DO cause a lot more pain). I was very relieved that there where no forward folds in this class. Instruction was very clear & concise. Like others, I wish it had been just a little bit slower...no need to rush. I love that she begins the class laying with breathing. I will do this one again.

I really enjoyed this class. It was especially nice that it relieved AND strengthened the back. I would have liked the stretch poses to have been held longer but other than that it was a great class and I will do it again.

Luv this class! I have a low back (near QL) strain/pull and did this class this morning before my patient workload takes its usual toll on my back. It stretched everything in that area beautifully and feels amazing. Excellent cueing and breathwork too! Thank you for my newest favorite!

LOVE this class! I ve had some sciatica issues, so I started practicing this class almost every day. It really has made a great difference. I m going to continue practicing it so I can hopefully avoid another episode. Thank you for creating such a helpful class!

Nice sequence - I especially like the pranayama that she wove into the class. I felt that some of the class was rushed, however. I d like to practice it again but add several more breaths to most of the asanas.

Great class. My back gets tight from all of the running I do. Stretching and opening my glutes and inner thighs really helps to relive the low back pain. The 34 minute length was perfect for me. I struggle to find tome for longer classes.

Great class! My back is in pain, mainly the neck and upper shoulders generating headaches. I felt that by following the class everything was linked: lower and upper back. By opening the hips it lightened as well my upper back. Will get back to it tomorrow.
Agree for a longer version: 30mn is too short.

Lovely, gentle class for a tight morning or before bed. I agree that a 50-60 minute version of this class would be excellent! I added a little standing sequence before the pigeon and feel great.

What an amazing, therapeutic class! I did a lower body workout yesterday that was heavy on weights and when I woke up this morning, I knew right away I didn t do enough of a cooldown or stretch afterwards; my hamstrings and hips felt very tight as did my low back. I normally do a more vigorous yoga practice in the morning but today, this practice is EXACTLY what I needed. I feel MUCH better, and the tightness/pain has decreased. Thank you so much for this wonderful class!
