Not for me. I strongly prefer classes where I can follow along without having to look at the screen, and couldn’t do that here (as another reviewer noted, skandasana is called “Kung Fu pose,” at another point, for instance, the cuing was only “rise up” and I had to crane my neck to see that we were entering warrior one). I also found the amount of chatter a bit distracting, but for me the big issue was inconsistent use of common pose names. I can see where others would feel differently though!

You are the first instructor that I have found that really helps with my martial art classes too. I am working on my third degree black belt in Soo bahk Do and I have been checking on classes that I can incorporate my hyungs along with some wonderful yoga moves. I also enjoy your words of inspiration. Soo Bahk!

I agree with reviewers Jo and D below. I found myself watching the screen more than usual and wondering whether we were going into a particular pose. Tuning in from the UK I sometimes had to figure out what pose he meant (Kung fu? Oh, skandasana). But I will be returning as there are interesting poses and flows. Thanks

This class has such good bones. I wish the instructor used the actual names for poses. It s hard to know if he is doing the yoga pose or trying a variation with generic terms. It also would have been nice if there had been a little less talking about things not pertaining to the poses or practice. Some of the flow and movements were very original and refreshing.

I love Eric s classes - he is very motivational, positive, reassuring, and fun. I m always feeling good when the class is over, even if I don t quite get to all the peak poses. I am making progress, and he affirms that even through video. Amazing instructor!

Too much extraneous talk. For me, a little encouragement goes a long way; a lot of it turns into preaching... Not much in the way of cues for the poses either.

Oh my! LOVED this class. Thank you for being so creative and challenging. The transitions were so smooth, particularly into pigeon. That is usually quite awkward. Bravo. This will be a staple in my video inventory. Very motivational, far beyond the 47 minutes of the video.

I have a positive mindset...about the fact that I loved this class and will be looking for more by him! Don t be put off by the explicit language rating - it s a mystery to me why they thought it warranted one. There were some really interesting moves/combinations that I hadn t seen before and I loved the surprises and challenging myself. But, you don t have to be a master yogi to do the class, as he encourages you to do what you can, push yourself a bit, but accept what you can do. He does talk throughout the class, but I loved the message and strangely, it did help me focus more on the moves and not my mind saying, "what the?!" Very enjoyable!

This was a nice whole body workout with some surprises that I ve come to love about Eric s classes. One thing that s missing in his class is music, a bunch of Eric s other classes have live music which I love. The studio space they taped in was really inviting, loved seeing the natural light.

I enjoyed this class. The cues were well done and the poses were unique and challenging. I am puzzled about the explicit language warning. The word h_ll is used one time. I don t think the warning is necessary. The vibe is peaceful and contemplative with an emphasis on not allowing your thoughts to limit you.

Wow, tough class, but loved it. I feel empowered with the different variations using eagle pose. I like the ending with plow pose, I can never get enough of Plow... my back feels so open and relaxed afterwards.

Very enjoyable class, particularly like the standing flow with the move Eric created in his basement :).

Two points of feedback: 1) I do appreciate the overall messages in your class Eric. But when we are in a really deep/challenging hold I do prefer to be encouraged to just focus on the breath (somatic experience) vs. focusing on a teaching (cognitive experience).

The other point is minor - do you really think we don t need to be taught to be negative? I think it might be the opposite - we are born joyful and positive and our slowly taught negative filters, which we then can t help but apply to our lives.

Great class - some tricky balances, but it was fun! Hope you could feel me smiling all the way from rainy England this morning. I ll definitely be looking up more of your classes.
