Welcome to Day 2 of our 2-Week Spring Challenge for Clearing and Cleansing!

Tuesday, April 9th

Welcome to day two of YogaDownload's 2-Week Yoga Challenge for Clearing and Cleansing! We hope you're feeling refreshed and inspired after day one, and you're ready to dive deeper into your practice today.

For day two, we have two wonderful class options for you to choose from. You can join Elise Fabricant for Reset Refuge: Thrive and Shine, a 30 min all levels class designed to help you reset and rejuvenate, leaving you feeling empowered and ready to shine. Alternatively, you can flow with Keith Allen in Twist & Flow, a 35 min dynamic practice that will help you detoxify and invigorate your body and mind.

As you move through today's practice, remember to listen to your body and honor its needs. Each breath is an opportunity to cleanse and renew, so allow yourself to fully immerse in the practice and embrace the journey of self-discovery and growth.

Whether you choose to reset and shine or twist and flow, know that you're taking a positive step towards a healthier, happier you. Enjoy your practice, and may you continue to find clarity and cleansing in body, mind, and spirit.

**Remember, if you're feeling in the mood for something different you can choose any of our free classes on our site (or any other class you'd like!).

Reset Refuge: Thrive and Shine with Elise Fabricant

Level:  All Levels | Intensity: Ahhhhhh

Has a hectic life left you uninspired and lethargic? Refresh and renew with this 30-minute, all-levels practice. Elise will lead you through sweet movements to awaken your spine and core, open your hips, unlock your neck, and finally chill your nervous system. A perfect prescription for a long, hard week!


Get Moving:

Twist & Flow with Keith Allen

35 min class

Level: Adv. Beginner & Up| Intensity: You'll Feel It

This practice does a little bit of everything, with an extra emphasis on twisting. Moving at a healthy pace, this class has moments of flowing and moments to hold poses and take your time and explore twisting in your body. Deep breathing is essential for powerful twists, so the breath is concentrated on throughout this class. There are tools and tips given about twisting in this class that can be essential and useful for you to take with you in your yoga practice.

I did the reset class. The first time I started it, the video didn't move (it was just a picture of Elise but I could hear her talking). But the second time worked ok. I really enjoyed the legs up the wall and the side stretch in pigeon pose. Thanks for another great session!

I chose Elise’s class because I’m trying to ease back in after a long stretch away from yoga. I’ve also been experiencing some bad neck pain for awhile, so I thought this would be a good one. I did enjoy it, but the neck did not like it. Maybe I need to continue this one to continue working on the sore neck. Thanks Elise!

Even though I said I was going to choose the harder option, I went for Elise's easier option today. I'd done an intense strength workout and didn't really have the energy for anythin more. Besides, Elise is one of my favourite instructors.

I did Elise's Reset Refuge first thing this morning. I have found myself making healthier choices throughout the day and even when I see myself getting negative and self-focused, I'm recognizing it more. I think these are all fruits of starting the days with yoga. Yay!

The flexibility of this challenge is what makes it so great. Today I didn't get to my mat until 10pm, so neither of the flows designated for today spoke to what I needed. Therefore I turned to yesterday's Yin flow which was absolutely perfect to end the day.

I changed into my comfy clothes when I got home from work and did Kylie's Yin class from yesterday. It was so relaxing and I need that since work has been stressful lately. I'm planning to double up on classes later this week so I can do Elise's class from today, which also look great.

Keith Allen's twist emphasising class was very good. There was a variety of poses and his instructions were clear and concise plys the fact that hismodel wasn't tall and willowy was rather special showing that yoga can be for anyone regardless of height! Lisa, his demonstrator, was good!

Keith is one of my favorite male instructors so chose this one today, have done both before and know them to be excellent. Keith never fails, so calming, great instruction. Feel very relaxed but open after. Love all of the twists.

Good morning!! I started my day with Elise. Love her calm. She did one of my favorites, pigeon pose. As soon as I got into it I noticed just how long I have been off the mat. I was so stiff and uncomfortable and it has always felt like such a great stretch. A good lesson to me to keep up on my yoga practice! Going to do Keith’s tonight. Love his classes!!

Love YD. Today was disappointing as the beginning class required a bolster, did not talk about variations to the poses or props if not available and didn’t walk through moving in and out of poses well like Jackie does. Also while the mountain backdrop was gorgeous it was all I could really see without pausing and getting really close as she is so far from the camera and behind the weeds I couldn’t see what she was doing and she wasn’t really good about explaining. Maybe I’m spoiled cause Jackie is so good about it. I did like the class I just felt bad for the true beginners as instantly I was met with roadblocks to participate. In the past other instructors say it’s ok if you can’t put your head between your legs on the block or if you don’t have this prop that’s ok. I hope it didn’t frustrate beginners. Definitely grateful for the challenge though. Thank you 🙏
