Great
I recommend Roger Martin-Pressman s classes to any athlete who was intermediate in the practice of yoga, but who is currently having to use beginner classes due to injury.
I did this class yesterday and i really like it . He is explaining each pose how to do it correctly which is very important for beginners .
I really enjoyed this session I have learned new tricks and approach to improving the balance. Thank you for clear instructions.
I have done yoga before many times but always in spurts, I never keep up with i t so I always do beginners. I really liked this one though, I thought it would be too easy but it definitely worked me out and stretched me like I wanted. Good job!
Great instruction! Challenging in a good way.
I really love Martin s classes and this was no exception. The cues are excellent and I hardly needed to look at the screen at all - testament to how well he describes what position to put each part of your body in. I always finish his classes feeling like I have got more out of them than any others - like I have really gotten properly into position. This class concentrated a lot on finding space between the heart and hips and I definitely feel stretched out afterwards. The balancing was not overly difficult. Really good class.
I am no fan of Anusara, so I guess I am not the right person to review the class. While I love the basic idea of balanced action, it becomes kind of lost in the class. And, as many (all?) Anusara-classes, it lacks flow. Roger is however a very good instructor, his cues are superclear, and you learn some very useful tips about alignment. So the class is definitely worth trying!
I did this practice with my sister in law a few days ago and we agreed that Roger gently kicked our butts! I thought I would be sore afterwards, but really was not. Nice long holds and fun flowing movement from one balancing pose to the next. All around good vigorous energizing practice. Thanks!
