this was great and you dont necessarily need props although I chose to use my bolster for a couple. It was a great mix and didnt leave me needing something else at the end. she has a nice soft voice for yin as well.

This was my favorite class ever! Just what my body needs! The cuing is perfect and I love Elise’s gentle, soothing voice. Will make this a regular.

Fabulous class with very different stretches. Good all over body stretching. Very soothing. I would have given the class 5 stars but the music was awful.

This class was perfect after a day of hiking. I especially like cow face pose.
The music was a bit annoying especially during the middle portion of the class. I prefer a more relaxing sound like windchimes, singing bowls, etc during a mediative class like this. Maybe a option to listen to Elise without the music could be added in the future?
I plan to check out the other yin classes. Thank you!

I have taken Elise s Yin Yoga class and my experience in this one is largely comparative to that one. Her voice and the music were soothing and relaxing. The poses felt more engaged and like they were working the upper body more. So not quite so "yinny." My hope was that this class would work, and yin (could that be a verb?), the lower body more as I was having issues with my quads and calves today. I think I just picked the wrong class. I recommend this class for someone wanting to relax the upper body more than their lower body, and who does not need the total relaxation as much as they need an opening.

I think I could ve done this class for hours! The slow, steady pace was not boring at all and the depth of the stretches felt fantastic. I feel limber and loose after this class... a perfect way to start or end the day. Definitely checking out the rest of this series!

This class is truly wonderful and is very easy to follow. It is particularly lovely for anyone who usually practices a more active flow version of yoga, as in this class you hold the postures for an average of three minutes, allowing you to really release any tension. There is no pressure or expectation and you just go to where feels right for you on the day. This class could easily be practiced before bedtime, but would also be perfect if you re ever feeling a bit sore and in need of some restoration. Although a lot less active than other styles of yoga I still felt like I had a very good stretch and was definitely more relaxed at the end of the class, highly recommended.

Holy hip flexors! Cow Face Pose will always have me cringing as I tend to hold stress in my hips. I appreciate the well roundedness of this particular yin yoga class as it does not just focus on the hips, but also chest, shoulders and back!
The instructor Elise is soft spoken, and tolerable with limited instruction allowing for one to focus within.
I really wish that yoga download would have an option to omit the attached music, so I can listen to my own mix.

I really dig Yin and Elise so this is the first YDL class I ve taken twice. Perfect complement to a rigorous workout, or a great way to reward and challenge yourself at one time. Maybe its my equipment, or maybe its the moving sky graphics, but my video cuts out and stops playing during savasana, meaning I get up without rolling to my side or I fall asleep. Either way I still win for doing this class. Thank you.

A very nice class: very slow & she tells at the beginning that each pose will be held for 3-5 minutes. It left me feeling opened & calm. Her voice is very soothing & fits the yoga class. She gives excellent instruction. I think this would be a great evening class just before bedtime.

Great yin, easy to follow and so relaxing. Time went by so quickly and I feel great afterward. I recommend this for before bed, for a beginner, for someone who wants a light intro to a very gentle practice or needing a deep stretch day. I feel leaner and longer.

I had to move away from my Jivamukti (yang) practice and was pleased to have enjoyed the Yin 1 class so much that I tried Yin 2. I had no idea the deep bliss and muscle stretches I could experience with this form of yoga. I will definitely include at least one yin yoga practice a week when I go back to my regular yang practice in the future.
