I really like this class: I m recovering from an IT band injury, and this class got into bits of my hips nothing else has, and really helped me stretch out. Its not a standard yoga class, but its an amazing stretch Ive otherwise only got from a good osteopath or a deep sports massage.

I really liked this stretch. I have got an injury in my hip and the class helped me to increase the movement in my hip without straining it.

I found this really hard to follow, it needed a bit more explanation with time to get into the poses.

With many thanks to Gemma for this one. It gets into places in the body that are hard to reach other ways. Tops and soles of the feet, deep into the outer shin, torso into hip. Delicious! I’m moving it from occasional to weekly to see what happens.

After doing this class yesterday my mobility was better and I felt better. Thank you Gemma!

It was difficult to see how to hold the postures. I m not sure I was in the postures correctly. The cueing was okay but the video on my phone made it too difficult to see and I often felt sensations in different areas than indicated. I stopped about 2/3rds of the way through the class.

This class is very different and very new to me. The movements are slow and stretch. I have never had anything like this class. This class is interesting. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing class for anyone with IT band issues. Really intense sensations that continue to feel good throughout my day. Thank you, Gemma!!!

This class contains a lot of flexion of the back which was challenge. Would be good to add counter poses.

Yes, this class can be hard to follow at times, but what it does for you is amazing and well worth the effort.

OMG. As a bicyclist who is just getting back to a fitness routine, this is exactly what was needed to work out the soreness in my hips and to begin to bring back flexibility. Will put this on my weekly list!

Wow! Low back or hip pain? This is GREAT. It is not a flow class but I have been wanting a class that helps me stretch. She gives great direction (sans a few left or right) but the other part of this class is up to you. You work in the posture until it hits, and man does it hit, where you need it. It shows you all the places you go past during other classes or let yourself work around. I will be coming back to this often because I know it will be better every time. Listen to her prompts and listen to your body, this is a game changer.

OK, so I agree it is hard to follow and understand some of the movements but so worth the effort. I needed to replay and watch her more to understand but as it s not a flow type class, that was not disruptive. Some lovely opening of my body. I am sure it will be easier when I repeat it and I will. Thankyou.

This is an awesome and unusual class that gently and thoughtfully addresses myofascial issues. I loved it and will return for another later this week!

Thank you
This was my first class back in way too long and just what I needed

Some reasonably good stretching, but didn t feel like a yoga class.

Great series of unique stretches. Gemma made me feel parts of my body I never thought were there! Relaxing and worthwhile. I am not sure why other reviewers found this class hard to follow; her cues are detailed and complete. It is a slow class, perhaps others were not patient enough to really listen. Thank you, Gemma!

Good class but very hard to follow. Not sure if I was in the right position or not mostly because I wasn t feeling sensations she said.

Good class but hard to follow.

Good class for hips but as others have noted the camera angle misses esp. during the "lizard" pose. Not sure where/how the back leg should be . Need a closeup there.

I developed sciatica and this practice has helped tremendously. Appreciate the slowness , the deep breaths, and stretches I ve not seen in classes for sciatica. More myofascia releases classes please!.
By equigini | Saturday, March 11, 2023
Good practice. My only comment would be that there were several points where the use of "right" or "left" and named body part would have been a better use that "that" foot, knee, hip, etc. to better articulate alignment.

This class is different. It combines resistance stretching with myofascial release principles, and yoga. I don t know if I was holding some of the postures or not. But I did feel a release in my low back and SI joint afterwards.

Agree with the 1st 2 reviews. Interesting, different and effective stretches, BUT, the postures are so unfamiliar, and she moves into them much too fast! Something so different should be approached with a much slower pace and specific, slow instructions to include ALL body part placements.
Had to stop and look at her pose a lot, and that wasn t very clear. The camera angle is bad; she should face more toward the camera. Even better, do some EDITING of camera angles so we can see both a side and front view. Camera was too far back overall. We need to see HER, not the room!

Instructions are unclear. Stretches felt good but I was not sure if I was doing them correctly.

Similar to another reviewer below I found the stretches good but the instructions unclear and really wasn t sure I was doing the right thing. I found the lights, mirrors and bowls etc a bit distracting when I was trying to look more closely to see if I was doing things correctly.

A wonderful class leaving a very open feeling in the hips, legs and feet. Thank you very much.

My hips feel fantastic! Thank you. I wasn t convinced at first, I m a fascial Practitioner in the UK so did adapt a little on some of the postures, however, my hips, hamstrings and shins are definitely feeling more open. Good job.

A creative, different typeof stretching. I am confused between Geenie and Gemma Celento

Great stretch. I am not familiar with some of those stretches but will add them to my favs for revisits more often. Felt good and would like to try a few more times to get it all the way through. Like the top of the feet stretching too. Thanks!
