Yin Yoga is a bridge to meditation practice. Each pose is a container for awareness and compassion. During this practice, Caitlin Rose gives helpful instructions on how to work with your mind during yoga. In addition to Yin Yoga poses there are a few active (yang) postures to capture your attention and diversify your sensations. This class helps you develop a quiet strength in your body and gentle endurance in your mind. Grab your props, or pillows and blankets from your bed or couch, if you don't have yoga props.. Continue to learn about Yin Yoga and the physical benefits in Yin Yoga 101: Practice.

This is great for me to practice mindfulness. In the first few minutes, I saw my mind was wondering around and could not focus on what I was doing (or doing nothing), but then I found myself started calming down in the poses. listing to my breath helped to do so too. I feel great and calm at the same time. Thank you.

Thank you for practicing and sharing your experience! I am happy to hear you found value in the mindfulness practice!
Really really enjoying this Yin series Where has this been my whole life?
I love this review, than you Missy!
I liked the juxtaposition of the yin and yang poses, even though holding some of the yang postures was harder than I was expecting for a yin class.
Thank you for practicing and sharing your experience Micaela!
This class loosened up my sore tight hamstrings that have plagued me for months. I thought an hour would be too long but the time really flew by. Looking forward to doing more of Caitlin s Yin classes! Thanks!
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Yin Yoga 101: Mindfulness with Caitlin Rose Kenney-was wonderful. Brought peace to my soul.
This is so great to hear, thank you for practicing!
This was my first time taking a yin class, so it was a completely new experience for me. It was very relaxing and it was what I needed for today. I appreciated the variations on some of the poses as I am one with tight hamstrings. Thank you!
Kathy, welcome to your yin-side! Thank you for trying something new with me!
I really love Cailin s yin practices. I ve been exhausted lately, so today I decided not to fight it and just choose a yin flow for the weekend. This was fantastic. I almost fell asleep a few times, haha, and my hips feel loads better now. (Still tight but better!) Thank you for creating some really delicious slow-paced, yin options for Yoga Download!
Christina, YES to listening to your body and doing a yin practice. When we fall asleep in yoga it means we need sleep. I am so glad you let yourself restore.
Another magical yin class from Caitlin. Thank you, I feel fantastic after this and appreciate your classes so much.
Thank you Derrick. I am so glad you are finding value in these practices.
Lovely!
Thank you for practicing!
Thanks for the lovely hour of meditative poses. As I age (71 and VERY remiss with my practice for many years), I find more active yoga less accessible and less appealing, but I still need to keep my joints lubricated. This is just the thing!
Thank you Marti. I am so glad this class is supportive for you!
