This class is dedicated to the Goddess Radha who is madly in love with Krishna. While the two are in love and frolic in the forests in erotic love play, Radha must learn the difficult lesson that Krishna will never belong to one person. We all inevitably learn that as much as we hold on to each other, we ultimately don't hold on to another forever. Jeanie begins class with a short (3-minute) discussion around Radha and Krishna, and then guides you through a unique flow of warming heart and shoulder opening postures that build sequentially to full Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose), and variations. Class ends with a 6-minute grounding Savasana.

So wonderful and accessible. I felt safe in the backbends - Jeanie does an amazing job of preparing the body appropriately for the poses. She also did an fantastic job weaving the story of Krishna and Radha into the class demonstrating a great depth of knowledge.
Idea of class was nice, however my back felt nowhere near warmed up for wheel at end. Although there was enough warm up poses, they felt too isolated and I never felt they got deep enough into my muscles. Also I felt I had to keep checking the screen, I thought I was coming into extended amgle, checked and it was humble warrior.
Instructor demonstrates poses but offers very little explanation on how to get into and out of them, making it impossible to follow without looking at the screen.
Good slow paced evening stretch class. A few advanced moves I skipped (full floating head stand, extended wheel). Overall a great evening class.
I really like the intention, but I couldn t get into this class. I prefer classes that warm into poses like lunge twists, if even just briefly.
What a nice flow class with a lovely theme throughout. It was a nice length and wasn t too vigorous.
I initially didn t want to do this class. I was worried that it might evoke some relationship-related feelings that I didn t want to examine. I m happy I chose to go towards my fear. This class was really soothing and contextualizing universal love in the story of Radha and Krishna allowed for a beautiful yoga journey.
