A great class. Challenging but do-able for beginners or people coming back to yoga after a long break from it. Jackie gives clear explanations and helpful reminders throughout. During the sun salutation flows, she goes fast enough to push you a bit but not so fast it feels impossible. Your whole body feels great at the end.

Took up yoga during the covid-19 lockdown of 2020 and it has been absolutely life saving. Love Jackie s classes, especially the power yoga beginner series. Essential practice during these challenging times. I cannot recommend yoga download enough.

This was a great class that allowed me to go deeper into poses that I often take for granted after years of practice. I worked up a sweat holding these poses too! I love her message on dealing with challenges in life and having patience. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

This series is perfect! I have been practicing Yoga for years but after a knee injury, I felt I needed to relearn proper foundation and alignment. I love Jackie s words of encouragement as my biggest challenge is accepting where I am in my practice instead of focusing on where I used to be. I do also love that she provides modifications for poses like half pigeon which is not achievable... yet ;)

Moved onto this second class after a few practices of class 1. I loved it and felt SOOOO good afterwards. Jackie explains everything really well and I feel it has enhanced my practice in studio sessions of Body Balance and PiYo.

Great class! It s challenging but a great workout and I feel fantastic after I ve done it. Clear instruction and a nice variety of poses so you feel like your time was used well and you re getting a full workout and stretch.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class! Excellent pacing and instructions and lots of nice postures for me to work with.
What I loved about this flow is my body stayed warm and Jackie gives you plenty of time to really enjoy each posture.
I am a man and I really like Jackie s yoga style. I have a little bit of a tummy and I would describe myself as very Kapha in Ayurvedic body types so I m often very bloated and tired. However, these power yoga classes feel great. My body warms up and I feel like I m getting a good detox.
Perhaps you could even call this series "Yoga for Kapha Types".
Really enjoying this series and can t wait to try the next part! Thank you so much!

I love Jackie s teaching style, she is one of my favorite instructors. This class was very challenging (long holding poses), but I will definitely be repeating it. Jackie does such a good job of explaining alignment and foundations of yoga, I think everyone who practices yoga should take this class!

I love Jackie! This is my 3rd time taking this class, and I still love it. The instructions for alignment continue to help me develop my practice and proper posture. I found myself telling myself "take a deep breath in" during my weight lifting session this afternoon.

Jackie has got to me my favorite instructor that I ve encountered on this site. She really understands the beginner and how we need some encouragement as well as what we may be feeling (tightness, frustration, etc.). She give nice tips to deal/modify and stays motivating. I ve done this video 4 times now, and it gets better every time!
