Jesse composed Niyama over two years of performing live for yoga. After being invited to play drums for a weekly class, Jesse began integrating electronic instruments and a lot more drums. Soon, students and teachers alike began asking him to develop a CD of the music for their self-practice and teaching. The two-CD set is designed to follow the ebb and flow of an entire class. Whether for self-practice, group classes, or listening enjoyment, Niyama, Volumes One and Two is modern music for an ancient tradition.
