This creative Vinyasa flow uses a rolled-up blanket, towel, or bolster to support your joints and enhance mobility. After a short meditation holding Hansi mudra, the gesture of the inner smile, we move into a supine position, exploring creative arm movements to open the shoulders and chest, and a fun core sequence using the bolster, setting the tone for the practice. Warm up with deep flexion poses supported by props, then flow into a fun, dynamic standing sequence that builds strength, balance, and flexibility—culminating in Dancer Pose (Natarajasana). You'll move 360° around your mat, focusing on the journey rather than the pose itself. This class is a great antidote to sadness and mild depression and a reminder to consciously cultivate positive qualities and hone and refine them through the practice. This class comes with a beautifully curated Spotify playlist, access it here: Spotify playlist for A Practice of Joy: Slow-Flow Vinyasa

What a great class! Interesting use of the bolster. I especially liked the supine Fig. 4 and the up-dog. Core work was fun, too. I loved that this was slow enough to follow but not so slow to get hung up. Pace seemed perfect for such a creative class. Hope to do more with this teacher.
Fun class with thoughtful poses and transitions. I really like it.

Thank you for the positive review, Marcn22, I love hearing this practice has served you and thank you for taking the time to let me and other practitioners know. Be well and keep practising.
This class was fun as I was all over the place and it made me giggle out loud. I will definitely take this class again so I can make up what I missed. It s a great reminder to not take myself so seriously and just go with so thank you!
Hi Bernie, thank you so much for your review. It s not called a practice of joy for nothing, you know! and it sounds like you embodied the practice s intention to perfection, I believe we also experience joy when we let go of the would, could, and should and allow ourselves to be just as we are, even when we are all over the place. I can tell you, it took quite me quite a few takes to nail this one and it is a joy to try again and again. Long response, I know, but you inspired me. Be well.
Thank you for the 5 stars, Marine, I appreciate each and every one of them and I appreciate you for taking my classes. Be well.
Fun and interesting new class. Really cool transitions, nice deep stretches and holds, and good balance and core work. Now knowing what to expect, I look forward to repeating this one! Thanks Lisa!
Thank you so much, Missy. This level of details helps me better tailor my content and other practitioners choose the best class for them. Take care.
