I appreciate this class, and this whole series. However, I felt like there was not enough explicit cueing on positions to get intensity of effort on core muscles and protect the lower back.... Couple examples: In the slow descents with bent legs, when to round the lower back? It is hard to see from the video.... What small movements can we focus on to get to "rock and roll" from lying on back "without momentum"? Elise is so often so clear on details like that, wanted more here too! Would love more core focused practices from Elise with more details like that! And some with faster pace also would be wonderful. Thank you!!
This is just a less than 30 minutes practice but great exercise to build up muscle of abs. I found moving slow made harder. I had serious back issue six months ago and visited physical therapy. Some of exercise are very similar to the movement in this class. I am glad to find this class. I will come back and repeat this exercise to maintain my core muscle so that my back stay happy. Thanks.
