such great que-ing with an incredible invitation to move your own body for your own body…love the reminder for breath. will come back to this as it was my first class for a long time. great for every level.

I highly recommend Jessica s classes: she offers modification options, rigor and a vigorous practice with emphasis on the breath that leaves one feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

This was a first class for me for this instructor. I did like her approach and attitude towards yoga. There is a lot of room for variation in this class and she cues lots of options to make things more or less challenging. I really had to do my own thing in the beginning as the breath cueing was a bit awkward (for example cueing two inhales in a row during flow A without time or cue for an exhale in between, and the warrior one flow was not possible for me as cued with breath). I don t think I d repeat this class for myself, but I will try another of the instructor s classes.

This class was definitely on the vigorous end of everyday namaste intensity level, particularly demanding on the shoulders with a series of long downdog holds interspersed with chaturanga vinyasas. I like the teacher s enthusiasm and approach. Occasionally felt that the cues could have been more clear and consistent. Interesting to hear the use of different names for poses than what I m used to on yogadownload.com as well, e.g., what is usually called airplane pose is called warrior 3 in this class, and what is usually called grounded airplane pose is called airplane pose. I guess it s good to challenge complacency to learn different instructions!

Fantastic flow. I d say this is great for Advanced Beginners too. There s nothing too fancy here, but you do have to know your body and adapt the poses here and there.
At first I was worried I wasn t going to sweat at all, but the flow really picked up after the 12-ish minute mark. I worked up a gentle sweat and got my heart rate into the vigorous zone. The wind down was also really nice.
I love that there were moments to choose my own adventure. I did some good stretching in our twist at the end. My hips feel great. Thank you, Jessica, for this back to basics flow!

This was a great practice! I really loved having 5 slow breaths to really get into each pose. I loved listening to my body and guiding it to each perfect modification for today. Really nice!

Nice, all round classic vinyasa. I have had a lazy week off on holiday and this was a nice "wake up my body" class. I m 62 but found most of the poses very achievable. I do miss having a guided savasana at end of class though...just my personal preference. Namaste!
