There s nothing wrong the with the class itself or the teacher - both are great - but it is definitely not power yoga or you ll feel it . There seems to be an ongoing issue on YDL with lack of new power yoga/ you ll feel it classes for intermediate level and the mislabelling of gentler classes (which are also essential!) as you ll feel it . The older classes with people like Jacqui, Kristin, Eric and Claire are amazing and I return to them again and again.

Too slow pace for me and poses were explained way too thoroughly for this kind of class. For beginners yes but not to advanced practioner. And then again - there was a possibility to scorpio which was not explained at all!

It doesn t look hard or energize, but it does. There are a lot of push-ups and downdogs. I took child poses between the next pose to rest, but I still got swat at the end. This class offers a different way of energizing you. Thank you.

This is a challenging class I keep returning to again and again. Very welcoming and adaptive.

Too much talking. Way too slow to be called POWER yoga.

I had trouble with the pace of this class. I was taking 3-4 breaths where it should have been just one breath per movement. Found myself all out of sorts and then everything felt rushed at the end to get into the dancer series. Just me, I m sure, and I will try the class again, perhaps, when my mind is better prepared.

Impeccable cues as always with Shy; however, not so much towards the end when he offers the option of Scorpio (not a common pose in YogaDownload classes) without explaining how to get into it. Apparently, the model did not know it either so, no way to do Scorpio. Same with Dancer, but because it s such a common pose (and the model did it) it was possible to follow. Despite the wrist warm-up in the beginning, I not not recommend this class for people who have wrist issues; it is hard on the wrists. And YogaDownload STILL uses the same annoying soundtrack, which is distracting and prevents the due concentration required by yoga.

An intense but invigorating flow. Despite it being challenging, I actually felt stronger and more confident as the practice proceeded. Great cues that helped me focus and remain present in the moment. Thank you. Will definitely be coming back to this one.
