This class id dedicated to the trio Sita, Rama and Hanuman. The Great epic tale of the Ramayana is briefly described here. Sita, the goddess of unconditional love teaches us about compassion under any situation. This class moves us slowly and steadily to the great splits, Hanumanasana. The great leap across the ocean where masculine and feminine, in-breath and out-breath unite. This class focuses on breath and some hamstring alignment. We start with some flow and standing postures, and then move more slowly to the ground. It's a great class for those who want to move towards the splits, but need to move more slowly to get there.

I loved this practice, a new to me way to explore hanuman, thank you xx
great
love it
I really wanted to like this class but I found the cues confusing at times so I ended up looking at the screen a lot. I also missed some modifications, especially at the end - if one cannot easily roll over into the full Hanuman split, it would be good to have more time to allow everyone to arrive into their version of the pose - by the time I understood what I was supposed to do, it was just one breath and out of the pose again.
Such a great class and the message so poignant! Thank you Jeanie!
Great pacing to a solid sequence.

Thanks Cheri ! Would love to hear why you gave this a 5 star.... I loved making the video and will be producing more in Sept! Warmly, Jeanie
Beautiful. Lovely pace and hamstring focus.
I completely agree with the review by cfh. I couldn t say it better.
Thank you ! I love teaching and this class in particular emphasized deep careful hamstring opening with a sweet theme around the mythical Hanuman Ram and Sita as a metaphor for awalening our midline. Thanks for taking class with me!
This was a great video for my hamstrings! I have little flexibility in my legs, yet I was still able to do the video, with some modifications. Definitely a gentle video, and one I will use regularly to increase my flexibility. Camel and Bow poses were a great surprise!
Thanks Allison ! Love teaching yoga!!
This class is incredibly unique in the way it leads you into hanuman. The openers and the integration of muscle to bone flow in a way that made poses in which I would normally feel some tension completely effortless. Having never come close to finding full split before, I rolled into it effortlessly on both sides. The same was true for rotated triangle and triangle... the stretch that I was used to feeling (in the hamstring) had vanished into a longer stretch -- i felt it in the edges of my ribs and my arm, as though my hamstrings were completely released by that initial "wide butt" preparation. I am really impressed by this class. It is energetically positive and very healing. The reviewer above is correct that it isn t for sweating... but I disagree about it needing more movement -- there is constant movement - it is just more subtle than I am used to. But a very beautiful class. Thank you!
If you d like a relaxing class with excellent hamstring stretch then this is class is for you. Good for a day when you re too tight and just want to stretch. If that s your goal then this class is a 5 but it s a little to slow and too chatty for me as I like to move and flow
