Welcome to Day 5 of the 14-Day Yoga Challenge for Busy People! 

Happy Friday challengers! What if being "busy" was just a feeling we can change, regardless of what our schedules look like? The practice of yoga is about presence, right here and right now. Oftentimes, being busy creates stress, because we're constantly looking ahead to what's next in our day, week, and life, instead of doing one thing at a time, with presence. This challenge is an opportunity to strengthen this ability to feel more relaxed, present and less hectic, even if your days are full!

Today we bring you a juicy hip-opening class with Ellen, and a short breathing practice with Pradeep. All classes in the challenge are between 15-30 minutes, except Pradeep's 10-minute class today, so if you feel like you need a short one, today is your chance. Enjoy your practice!

Nadi Shodhan pranayama, or Alternate Nostril Breathing, is believed in yogic and Ayurvedic traditions to harmonize the two hemispheres of the brain, resulting in a balanced in physical, mental and emotional well-being. This type of focused breathing clears out the blocked energy channels, and just a few rounds a day can help restore imbalances in your brain, improve sleep, calm your emotional state, boost your thinking, and calm your nervous system.
