I ve been practicing on Yoga Download since 2007 but somehow missed this class. There are lots of long, challenging holds, some of the transitions are a little unusual (runner s lunge to extended side angle?), and the music is a bit jarring at times, especially the beginning. I don t mind Jamie s voice and pacing since I m familiar with it, but I can see that she wouldn t be everybody s cup of tea. Her thorough cueing actually helped me refine some of my poses, which I appreciated. Definitely would rate this as Intermediate rather than Advanced Beginner since it s audio only, there aren t always complete explanations on transitions, and some of the holds and sequencing can be pretty intense. All in all a good class as long as you re prepared!

Great class. Fantastic instruction step by step and just the right amount of push to make me feel accomplished without overwhelmed. I’ll definitely be putting this in my routine and favorites list!

I didn’t mind the scripted aspect of the class. There’s nothing wrong with the class, it just wasn’t for me today. The pace was slower than I expected .

Great, well-balanced flow. Really enjoyed this and will definitely do again!

Great flow. Challenging, moving at a good pace to allow for deep breathing but also a good sweat. Clear instructions, along with pose guide for additional pose alignment cues. Core workout quite challenging; also prayer twists with no break in between!

Good flow,a bit too scripted and impersonal.

I have to say I downloaded this class a few years ago but never managed to actually do it until recently. I really wish now I actually did the class when I downloaded it. Yoga is new to me but I needed something that I could do in a remote setting. Due to where I work I don t have access to gyms, props or even internet to stream something, so the audio with the pose guides are perfect for me. Jamie is clear in her instructions and even manages to push you a bit to get lower into the stretch. I really look forward to doing the 60 minute class a couple of times a week. I am now looking at more of Jamie s classes.

I LOVED this class. It was easy to follow (I needed the pose guide only once) and the 30-minute class was a legit workout. I usually only find myself with 30-45 minutes to get a practice in and have done several yogadownload.com classes, but this one will definitely be my go-to for a quick practice.

I ve been doing this class for a while now and I still go back to it at least once a month. It s a pretty tough workout, but Jamie s style as an instructor is great. Highly recommended!

Great class! A nice variety of workout for a 30 minute class.

Overall, I really liked the flow and content, I felt like some of the transitions were slower than they should have been, and a little awkward with coordinating breath, but really enjoyed the workout.

Effective without being frustrating. Nice, slower pace when first attempting a pose, I can tell that I will improve and be able to do more of the intermediate modifications explained. Overall a well rounded, awesome 60 minute practice.

Quite challenging when you ve been off the mat for a while! Wow, there were some instances when I had to stop, as my mind could not make it through the thighs burning! I challenged myself to do yoga each day for the month of December, to get back into it and this was day two. Very balanced class, I love the format Jamie follows in this class, warm up sun salutes and just when you think that you can;t keep doing this for an entire hour, she switches to something else and comes back to chaturranga again later. 60 minutes class is highly recommeded!

Yikes! This is a difficult class if you re not in fabulous shape, though it is a great workout. I would recommend you be doing yoga for a couple of months before trying it; I took a break and then tried after two weeks back in and it was very tough. There are a lot of lunges and you need to balance for quite a while, as well as using your upper body strength. There s also a set of sit-ups thrown in near the end of the short class. Good for those using yoga for a real workout, less so if your goal is relaxation.

This class is definitely a good workout, but the teacher sounds like a robot! I found it very distracting trying to follow her voice through the poses because she was so monotone. She might as well have been reading directly from a script. Its a good sequence though, so maybe going through the poses with good music on would work better for some.

A great class. Very challenging. Never thought yoga was a dude thing, but in many ways this is more challenging than the body weight workout I do on alternate days. Great for flexibility, but also for building strength. Great job, Jamie.

WOW. I love this class. I never thought that I could get such a good work out from yoga. I feel guilty when I miss my classes at the gym but not now. I prefer these classes actually, THANKS.

Just did the 60 minute Power Yoga for the first time. What a workout! This is the closest yoga workout to the hour long gym class I used to take. Plenty of time spent in Sun Salutations and balance poses. However, if you don`t have an hour to spare, I recommend the 45 minute class. Not as many balance poses, but one heck of a workout! I think I sweated about the same amount on both. Also, the 60 min. class seems to go a bit slower. Perfect if you`ve got the time.

30 min. Class is a great one to do when you don`t have a ton of time. You still get a great workout (Sweat and all). I recommend buying 8 1/2 x 11 inch self-laminating cards (3M makes them) to cover the pose guides. Even with lots of yoga experience, the pose guilds really help with the `flow`. Great concept!

Where have you guys been all my life? I have spent hundreds of dollars on Yoga DVDs and never been happy with them. I wanted a workout that would be similar to the one I took at the gym years ago. I found it! Also, I`m on the road for work so the format is great. This workout kicked my butt! I usually lift weights three times a week, but will have to wait another day because I`m so sore from this one!

This class is perfect. I love getting a great yoga workout at the time that I choose and for the length of my choice.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this class was. It was my first purchase and I will be coming back for more!

Ok this is the deal. I am not a morning person. I tried this one in the morning and oh my God!!! I felt energetic for the rest of the day. It is amazing it pushes you yet you can do it. I absolutely love it.

This class feels a bit more challenging than the level 3 Free class. Some of the poses are more challenging and felt more like a level 3 class. There was definitely a great sense of accomplishment with this class, especially after I surprised myself and was able to do a side plank pose that I`d never even tried before. It`s part of my regular rotation of classes. I like this class when I have a little extra time in the mornings.

I`ve only done this class once and really loved it. The music and tempo were good, Jamie`s voice is good, and the class was challenging.
