I took the 25 minutes version This class is very different from yoga practice that I know. It is mostly core work. Even though this is not I expected, I felt good at the end of this practice. Tank you.

The 25 min class is a decent core workout. You’ll need a wall for downward dog and headstand. No strap necessary for the short version. Good long rest at the end.

I thought this class was weird and that some of the cues were hard to follow -- they didn t include enough detail in some cases. Maybe this is because I m not familiar with Forrest Yoga.

Great Forrest class for breathing, core, hips and shoulders! Sequencing may seem a little untraditional, but its a smart way to get warm quickly and you still get in all the elements of suns without doing the series.

This is the first time I ve done Forrest Yoga and I LOVE IT! I did the 75 minute class. She starts with deep breathing exercises which is great. Then goes into core work and then handstand. I love that the handstand is at the beginning of the class before I was too tired to do it. Some think the class moves too slow: that s because she holds the poses for several breathes, reminding you to breath & relax your jaw, and you can get deeper into the pose. I did the class this morning and this afternoon I can feel it in my legs. My neck feels great (usually have pain due to degenerative discs) as does my low back. I will definitely be doing this class again & am planning to get the Advanced Class. I feel open & I can tell I had a great workout. I was sweating early on in this class. Namaste .

i have mixed feelings about this class. i agree with the other friend about it being slow yet at the same time i wasn t prepared for handstand; although i m advanced somewhat that was a bit much for me. i feel like i need to do more...like i haven t worked hard enough. i did benefit from the breathing though

Loved this for using intermediate poses to build a deep, almost restorative feeling class. I feel relaxed, open and I ve grown in my awareness of how to use breath. I will definitely come back to this class when I m feeling tight or muscle fatigued. My only complaint is some introductions that never happen in the 35 min. class I took (ie: talking about sphinx pose and never getting there).

Love this class. Just like being at my Forrest Yoga class at my yoga studio. Thank you Yoga Download!

I didn t care for this class. The pace is S-L-O-W, when I was expecting to work up a sweat since it s labeled advanced intermediate. There was so much dead time, where I was just laying/sitting on my mat, waiting for the next thing to happen. I started doing my own flow and just listening to the class, and eventually just turned it off. I much preferred Cher Aslor s advanced forrest yoga class. The pace was better and more engaging, the instructions were clearer, and the sequence worked deeper into my muscles.

I downloaded the 75 minute version of this class and I LOVE IT. Wonderful relaxed intro into a pretty deep class (my shoulders are going to be aching with openess tomorrow!), and I loved doing downward dog on the wall. I also really enjoyed the focus on opening the neck, and doing 6-count breaths even in the middle of poses... helped me realise how shallow my breath can be in the harder ones. Great class!
