I made it 13 minutes into this class before giving up from the confusing cuing and lack of movement despite the excessive descriptions (that didn t always make sense) and now I ve wasted the time I had to even get yoga done, today. Choosing this class was a personal mistake. I m sure this is great for some people but this is not at all what I was hoping for in my yoga practice, today.

Excellent class, at the end of this class I was able to explored my body with more flexibility. Control and gradually deeping each poses using my breath. Thanks Shy Sayar a pleasure attending your class.

My first online class within this website:
Very relaxing... the water connection allows for an even softer breathing pattern.

My first class. Superb. Challenging and yet accessible. Detailed instructions from Shy and a good idea to use a model. Thank you.

Start with all joints loos, moving to standing poses. The movement is slow and flow like gentle water flow, but unlike other flow classes, this slow practice feels harder than fast pace flow. Just 30 minutes of practice, I feel warm and relax. Thank you.

I come here for Shy s classes. I have learned a lot and enjoy Shy s guidance very much. This is a good class to express my gratitude and esteem for Shy: there is water and there is Shy. Please bring more of your classes and flows that teach while exhilarating us. Thank you!

Shy is a wonderful, knowledgable teacher. I liked the joint warming movements at the beginning and the 4 part breath. Bringing in the water element with the breath was cool. I would have enjoyed a bit more silence at times. With the multitude of cueing, I found I tuned out at times. Overall, I enjoyed the class.

Very precise cues, similar to Iyengar, but with flow elements. I enjoyed the class.

I did this after a run, hoping for a fluid slow flow as a cool down. Instead it was a bunch of talking, a bit of breath work, and nonsensical cueing ("pull your ears away from your shoulder blades", really?). When we finally got to something resembling a "flow" it was just a couple minutes of moving from warrior two to reverse to side angle pose. I could have come up with a more creative and interesting flow on my own and not had to listen to constant chatter.

Too chatty for me.

another fabulous class from Shy. slow standing Hatha class with a wonderful pranayama.

I found this listed as a hatha class, but it was mostly flowy type movements (akin to water). There was one part in the middle that held warrior 2 more like hatha. It ended standing and didn t feel finished. Very precise cues given by Shy which are always helpful to gain alignment.

Such simple movements but Shy describes excellently how to bring energy to them and keep good form. I have tried twice to complete this class but haven t done it all completely yet as I take rests, I think because of weak muscles around my knees I find it even more intense (and I m still beginner level). But even though I struggle, I feel this class is really beneficial so I m going to keep it in rotation and hopefully each time get a bit better :)

Really enjoyed this practice. Just finished a long hike and this was a perfect ending. Admittedly I kind of tuned out the instructions after getting into each pose but Shy s voice is soothing. So just the sound was relaxing. Very calming. Thanks, Shy.

One of the benefits of yogadownload is having a wonderful variety of teachers. Shy was new for me. I loved the fluid breath work and the slow study of warrior poses. Thanks!

This was great! I m having a flare of rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and feet, but this practice got my breath flowing, stretched things out, and got my legs activated quite a bit in Warrior 2. Love it!

I loved focusing on each joint at the beginning of class, perfect to wake by body up first thing in the morning! Learning about the Ayurvedic element of water is something I will remember going forward in every yoga practice. Thank you!

Really enjoyed this class! The four part breathing worked well to reinforce the water flow premise.

I LOVED this flow! It wasn t exactly "ahhhh" nor was it too challenging, but there are a lot of Warriors, so your thighs *should* feel something! I loved the thoughtful explanations and the ability to really feel a pose. I felt like my warriors were more anatomically correct than usual, and I felt as though the water element was moving through me. I also really enjoyed this variation on the four part breath.

Something different teaching mindfulness and some great technique.
I love the focus on working with your body rather than against it and trying to dominate it as so much Westernised exercise seems to do.

Great class for focusing through the breath and posture techniques.

A relaxing class, moving slowly with an invitation to examine form through Shy s excellent and gentle cues with attention to detail. Enjoyed the combination of a few traditional yoga asanas with some QiGong style breath. Would be a great class any time to ground and center. Namaste. ?
