Quick Pilates course if you’re short on type.

I love Hayley s other 30-minute Pilates classes on YDL, but this was not the same standard. It felt like she hadn t rehearsed it before the cameras rolled. And she omitted some key Pilates instructions, such as keeping your belly button pulled in.

Some good tips on form in here, but if you re an experienced pilates practitioner, this is pretty slow. Was looking for a tougher workout from "You ll Feel It" rating.

It s a good beginners Pilates class. The instructor is great, personable and informative. I would love to do a harder class instructed by her.

This class assumes a basic knowledge of Pilates. In her effort to do Pilates with a "twist", I think she compromises some of the basic principles of Pilates posture. The most important point of Pilates is keeping the belly button in and low belly scooped. She seldomly mentions this! Like others mentioned, the instruction is kind of chaotic and doesn t come at the beginning of each exercise; and the end of class is very sudden. I think it could be a good class if you repeated it enough to anticipate the exercises and had the correct Pilates posture.

I really enjoyed this class. The instructor had a lot of informative form pointers that helped me get the most from each exercise. She also kept things interesting with different variations of poses.

A good short class that s doable for beginners, though you d have to have experience with poses to get in and out of them quickly. The reps are short, but I thought it was a great class actually! My abs feels worked but the class wasn t torturous. I added a little yoga stretching before and after.

First class I ve tried with YD and really enjoyed it. I m away from home just now so don t have access to my regular Pilates studio and despite doing Pilates for quite a long time find it difficult to feel I m really doing the right thing when I practise on my own. I loved the cycling rollups and rolldowns as I have not yet managed to do rollups without assistance.

LOVED this class :) Definitely need to get my core strength up (had a baby about 15 weeks ago) and this class is definitely the one to do it with! Plus, it was short enough that I completed it at the tail end of my baby s nap! Thank you!!

This teacher is amazing! she gave many options to do certain poses. Being new the pilates I was a bit worried that I could not get through this, but with the options it really helped. Wow! do I ever feel this! highly recommend this video. For people that are advanced, I think this will even be good for you!

I couldn t finish it--unfortunately the instructor is at times not coherent in what she wants us to do (uses wrong words), and at others doesn t really explain what she s doing. Because of that--and the fact that none of the reps are long enough--we have to watch the screen closely the entire time.
A lot of what she says are also not necessarily helpful points but just personalized things she has issues with, including the lack of flexibility, which didn t help me at all.

Nice short core workout. Prefect when you have a bunch to do, but want to squeeze in a work out. It s fast paced so good when you have high energy or are trying to wake your body up!

I m not familiar with Pilates but I thought I would give this class a try. I didn t find it very challenging! The instructor is nice, though.

Gets me sweating but not too difficult. A lot of rolling. Wish there was a tiny bit more stretching, but it is pilates..
