Welcome to Day 6 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge for Busy People! 

While yoga is a practice, it is also a learning process. "Practice, and all is coming" is a famous saying in yoga, and offers much wisdom. You can read every yoga book, study alignment, philosophy, and more, but if you don't practice, none of it matters much. The benefits of yoga come from practicing!

At the same time, if you only practice and never take the opportunity to learn, it's possible your practice may plateau. You could be practicing with poor alignment habits, or simply not be accessing the wealth of knowledge available through yoga philosophy, and more.

It's important to both practice and continue learning! Today we give you the opportunity for both with a slow and relaxing class from Celest, or an energizing morning pracice with Robert. Enjoy!

Stretch and Relax:

Quicky Stretch & De-Stress with Celest Pereira

25 minutes | Level: All Levels | Intensity: Ahhhhhh

Having one of those days? This class will quickly help you de-stress, stretch out your body, and relax your mind. Through slow, deep breathing and stretching, you can relax your physiology and bring the energy of the body back down which will help your mind get centered and feel connected again.


Kick Start Your Day with Robert Sidoti

20 minutes | Level: Adv. Beginner & Up | Intensity: You'll Feel It

Jump into your day fully committed! A quick and to the point workout to start your day!! You will get your body moving with a few Sun Salutations to warm and stretch your body. You will strengthen your upper, middle and lower body with some straight forward functional type movements like air/body squats, push-ups (your personal modification, knees down etc). You will find yourself in a few forearm side planks (and other core variations) to work and tone your core. You will finish with a stretch or two to compliment the work you've done and sit for a moment to contemplate the day ahead, then get up and get after it knowing you've started off exactly as you've chosen to, strong and dedicated to living your best day!
