YOGA CHALLENGE FOR BUSY PEOPLE: DAY 4

YOGA CHALLENGE FOR BUSY PEOPLE: DAY 4

Welcome to Day 4 of the 2-Week Yoga Challenge for Busy People!

How are you feeling today, challengers? You've made it through the first three days and we hope you're starting to feel stronger, more relaxed, and confident about your challenge journey.

For some, yoga is about slowing down and finding deep meaningful stretches, and for others it's about mindful fluid movement and getting the heart pumping. Both have their benefits, and it's good practice to mix it up depending on what the body needs. Today, we give you the choice. Christen's class is perfect to slow it down and find insipration, while Mark's will have you building up a sweat. Enjoy your practice!

Slow and Simple:

Head Up, Heart Strong with Christen Bakken

30 min class | Level: All Levels | Intensity: Everyday Namaste

Our bodies follow our minds. AND our minds follow our bodies. When we feel down or think discouraging thoughts, our posture follows suit. Sometimes it is tricky to change the mind, so our practice can redirect the mind. Change the body, change the mind and even our relationships, community, and the world.

This simple flow with our heads up and our hearts strong/forward, will gently teach the mind that there is a lot to "look forward to."
No chatarungas, no complicated transitions. Just simple breath and movement with clear intention.

Unravel Through Movement:

How to Get Lucky Vol. III: Get Luckier Still with Mark Morford

25 min class | Level: Intermediate | Intensity: You'll Feel It

Yogic reminder: You’ll never see fluid opportunity (i.e.; luck) – and opportunity certainly won’t see you – if you’re dead-set on behaving, reacting, gripping your day-to-day reality in the same tired ways you always do. Here’s a condensed, 25-minute blast from my HTGL series, designed to help you consciously unravel yourself and any constricted rhythms, patterns, habits that block you from noticing luck’s surreptitious wink. Translation: longer warrior holds, faster switches, slower breaths, changing rhythms, defying your pre-programming. What could be better? After all, luck wants you the way saliva wants chocolate. Be ready.
