I JUST FINISHED MY VERY FIRST YOGA CLASS WITH JACKIE. SHE IS AMAZING...SHE CONNECTS WITH ALL LEVELS AND MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF NO MATTER HOW AWKWARD YOU FEEL. Hi Jackie. Love your 101 series. Has changed my life. I have very tight hips, quads, hams. So bad that my kneecaps pull into my femur causing grinding that is very audible. I also have a herniated disk in lumbar that causes sciatica. I am trying to find poses that are easy on my knees and help the sciatica. It s like I need to get everything stretched out but they kinda play on each other. It only acts up once every few years but lately it s been more often. I just want to stretch but am scared I ll hurt something since the sciatica is so painful. Any suggestions?
Today was my first day of a real Yoga class,I had learn yoga from a book. I was in pain in lower back it was from degertive of lower spin and I did the yoga and I have not had any majore issue again.if I have flare up I just did the yoga and I am better.Im know doing yoga but by class and whant to learn yoga and imporve my overall body .I love this class and teacher was best to explaining stuff.I was always worried I was not doing it right.
I have tried yoga so many times throughout the past maybe 15 yrs and NEVER could get into it. Something always hurt, I could never hold the poses and I always felt like such a failure every time I tried it. I also have an injured wrist, making things even more challenging. BUT, Jackie... OMG! Finally!!! With her gentle guidance and multiple ways of modifying almost every pose, I have fallen in love with yoga. This is just what I needed. This woman is pure serenity and acceptance as an instructor, and it helped me be much less critical of myself. I ve completed the 5 classes, taken some of them multiple times, and have already found my next beginners program, with Jackie instructing, of course ;) THANK YOU!!!

Love how you teach so easy to follow
This series single-handedly got me into Yoga. I found it to be exactly the stretching I had been craving to help some hip pain (which went away.) It was also at a good pace for someone that didn t always have the best flexibility, although that is now changing. Thank you Jackie, you get full credit for making yoga relevant and enjoyable for me!
