In this challenge you will have a choice of classes each day. There will be several style and unique class options throughout the challenge as well as meditation, Yin, fitness classes, pilates, and other fusion styles. You have freedom and choice to make this challenge work for you. 

This challenge is suitable for all levels - beginner to advanced. Each day will have a beginner friendly class option along with a more advanced option for more seasoned practitioners. This challenge will create growth and evolution, both on and off the mat, for all genders, body types, and level of practitioner. 

By simply signing up to this challenge, you have taken the first step towards your goal. It is healthy and beneficial to challenge yourself. Simply keep showing up, everyday for the next two weeks. Before you know it, you'll be both feeling and looking better than you ever have before.

Welcome to Day 1 of the Yoga for All / 2-Week Challenge!

Welcome challengers! Congratulations. By simply showing up on this first day, you have taken the first step towards reaching a new goal for yourself.

Before you know it, you'll be feeling and looking better than you ever have before. The important thing is that you keep showing up! Some days it might feel harder than others, but this challenge is supposed to push you outside of your comfort zone. That's the nature of a challenge. Throughout the challenge, you may find yourself feeling more focused and confident (and possible less stressed too)!

You are not alone on this endeavor either! There are challengers all over the world, embarking on this 2-week challenge with you! Share your experiences and how you're feeling each day in the comments section and connect with your new yoga community from around the world. 

Setting an intention for any goal or challenge is always a powerful way to begin. If you wish, take a moment to set some personal goals for the challenge. Journaling is always a nice complement to any physical and mental challenge. Write down why you chose now to challenge yourself and how you want to feel physically, mentally, and emotionally, after these two weeks are over (and you can reflect when you've completed the challenge). 

On the first day, one option is a class for yoga beginners from Jackie. There will be beginner friendly choices each day, for those wanting to use this challenge as a way to get into yoga for the first time. The second choice is a top-rated, all-levels class from Christen that focuses on gratitude. Remember to enjoy the journey and have fun!

Yoga 101: Start Here, Start Now with Jackie Casal Mahrou

50 minute class | Level: Beginner | Intensity: Everyday Namaste

Are you brand new to yoga? A complete beginner? If so, there's no better time to begin than right now. There are no prerequisites to this series or class. Just give it a try. You have nothing to lose! 

This first class will teach you the nuts and bolts of yoga. You will get a feel for yoga, as well as learn the basics, allowing you to build a strong foundation. We will explore deep breathing, practice beginner yoga postures with optional props and modifications, as well as learn safe physical alignment. Start now, exactly as you are, and experience what yoga is all about! 

Practice Gratefulness:

Flow for a Grateful Heart with Christen Bakken

50 minute class | Level: All Levels | Intensity: You'll Feel It

Every season is a great season for gratitude. In this well-rounded sequence, we will shift and move energy with a balance of forward folds, twists, and side-bends. We will balance on one leg and on our hands, only to conclude with an offering of the heart in a strong back-bend series. While a grateful heart may arrive on one breath and leave on the next, we will create collective energy honoring the space of abundance and freedom and remember that all of this is physical and spiritual practice, not perfect. Expect to move and be moved.
