Class Description

An amazing Forrest Yoga flow that will both inspire and challenge you! Cher offers an unintimidating approach to yoga and provides variations throughout so you can tone it down or take it up a notch, depending on what your individual needs are that day. This is a great intro to Forrest Yoga class, and is also an excellent class for those more familair with this technique-driven style.

I have only done the 20-minute class, but I really enjoyed the slightly different order of poses (bridge pose and single-leg versions toward the beginning) and the instructor. I m used to Dawnelle, Jackie, Lisa, etc. (who are all fabulous) so Cher was new to me, but a "good new". I m actually thinking of downloading a longer version because I enjoyed the 20-minute class so much.

Fantastic class. Easy to follow. Good work out, but not too intense. Fighting a cold right now and this was perfect.

I mostly do adv/int Vinyasa and power yoga classes on YD, so I was excited to learn how Forrest Yoga does their sun salutations. But as the instructor introduced the salutations, she added parts that did not end up being part of the flow. This was probably a way to set up the right alignment but this, along with only getting breath cues every few poses, threw me when it came time to flow. I was also confused by many of her arm cues throughout the practice. I read the rest of the great reviews, so I'm guessing I've been doing too many classes with the same instructor lately and need to branch out. I'll try this class again.

I loved this class. Being someone who a) prefers fairly straightforward vinyasa flows that aren t too fast or slow, and b) prefers not to hear much of the new age aspect of yoga; I wasn t sure how I d feel about this class. But I was so pleasantly surprised! The cuing was excellent, as was the pace and the instructor s voice. There was a great focus when going into a post for the first time on alignment, which was great and really brought my attention to my body right where it needed to be. This was a refreshing change from my usual classes I download, and I hope to see YD offer more of these classes in the future.

Amazing class! It is my new favorite! Very different, yet familiar. Useful cues, perfect balance between challenging poses and releasing stretches; everything felt just right. I strongly recommend this refreshing class.

I enjoyed this class (did the 30 minutes) and will certainly put it into my rotation for variety.

Really enjoyed this - I hadn t done much yoga for a while, so it was just enough for me. Very easy to follow, especially with the pose guide too. Think I ll try the longer one next time.

It was wonderful to to be able to do an intermediate Forrest Yoga class at home. I ve done a wide variety of yogadownload classes over the years and this is one of my favorites.

This is a neat class with some very nice variations. I have been doing yoga for over 10 years and am a certified instructor. My husband has only been doing yoga a few months. We did the class together and with a couple of modifications for my husband we both found what we needed in the 45 min class. The 30 min class is nice too. I went on to the 45 because I wanted more today. Both are excellent.

I really enjoyed this yoga class. I like that it is different in its own unique way, from a lot of the classes on yoga download. I also am impressed with her cueing on alignment FANTASTIC! I hope Cher will make make more classes.
