Ancient Newness is simply a blast from the past with yoga centric music from Jeffrey Cohen (The Jai's) and Anthony Haro (The Vibrations). The class also pulls from Ashtanga roots and builds into a more contemporary Vinyasa flow. What does all this mean for someone that is saying "WTF" right now? I love Eric s classes and his "don t take yourself or yoga too seriously" attitude. The music was a great part of this class. I only gave this one 4.5 stars because I wish he had given me a modification for shoot the duck. Couldn t get there and didn t know what I should try instead. There were other modifications at other points that helped,

Thanks for your feedback. I try to give modifications when needed. I went back and viewed the video to make sure I did not leave y all high and dry. I did give a modification on one side. Also the male student showed another variation of "shoot the duck", as well.
Please go back and try the class again. Then write me.

I ve done live classes with Erik, and I wasn t sure how his lively personality would come through on video, but indeed, his passion and quirkiness resonated beautifully. Erik injects the fun into yoga while focusing on the messaging of love, inner strength,and fire.

If you re ready to smile and laugh while practicing your flow, Erik is your man.

What a wonderful class! I was looking for a new class this evening and decided to try this one, simply because it was the length I was looking for and was the first class that popped up. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it and by how many times I actually smiled during class. I will definitely be trying more classes from Eric. Thank you!
