A Warrior In Self Care

When beginning anything new, many of us have a habit of judging and/or berating ourselves during the process, as we seek for perfection. The only thing is that the negative energy we are putting into the practice and toward ourselves, will only result in struggle and potentially even suffering.

Cultivating self-care is something that our asana practice can offer us, which is entirely incumbent on our willingness to show up with kindness toward ourselves as we learn something new.

In this beginner yoga class we compassionately guide the body into a soft opening in order to have a deeper, healthier and perhaps even more happier relationship with Warrior One; a posture many people have a negative neuro-association to.
